All right, are you still there?
I'm still here.
Fantastic. I think we're on, we're on live.
Perfect, perfect.
Awesome. Hopefully I'm not, am I? Hopefully I'm not frozen. There we go.
It seems okay. Let's see here. We're on your channel, so I'm not sure I have to go to your— let me see here. Let's go to your account. Yeah, it says you're live, so we're good. We're on here.
Okay, so the echo is because of my— let's see here, it's the Facebook. There it is. Okay, I found it. Okay, awesome. We should be ready. Thank you all so much for joining us tonight. I know I have a few people that are hopefully going to be jumping on our live, but thanks so much, Caroline, Dr. Caroline, for coming on, uh, my Facebook channel. And, um, Dr. Caroline is with Native Sun Nutrition. Uh, she is a functional medicine practitioner. She travels all over the place We were just, we were just talking about that before we jumped on. But she can see you anywhere. She does lots. Most of her patients are virtual. And so that's fantastic. She has an Instagram as well as a Facebook page. So that's Native Sun Nutrition. And I have Embrace Optimal Health. So you can find my business page as well as my Instagram as well. So anyway, Dr. Caroline, thank you so much for coming on. For those of you who are on with us tonight, please feel free to put any questions you have in the chat. Um, Dr. Caroline is truly a wealth of knowledge and fantastic to chat with and ask questions to, and so feel free to take advantage of that. She will tell you what she can and can't answer, so just feel free to use the chat for that tonight. But most of the time we get on here and we talk about this amazing technology that connected her and I, um, just through multiple friends is what's so great, is that we have a technology that we can share with others, and because of get to be able to make new friends and, and connect with people across the globe because of that. So, and truly, the industry that we're in with regenerative health, what we're coming out with— we have products coming out for the next 7 years that are planned to launch that will continue to keep our company ahead of the industry. So most of the time what we talk about is our, our patch technology that elevates GHK copper peptide in the body. And so if we want to dive into some of that tonight, or if you all have questions about that, I do have a YouTube channel where I do educational calls every single week on GHK copper peptide and how fantastic it is. But feel free to ask about that. We do have a water technology coming out as well. And so the last several weeks, Dr. Caroline have been talking about light-infused water, which is truly a novel design. I was actually— so, Dr. Caroline, I was watching this video of a guy, another healthcare practitioner like yourself who he was using a Berkey and there was lots of complaints going on with the Berkey because there were still things getting into the water. And so then after that, he was using a distiller, and then after that, he was using some kind of motor to structure the water. And I just thought, oh my goodness, we're going to have all of those things with this water technology on top of being infused with light.. And so instantaneous infusion and hydration into the cell. So anyway, whatever you want to add about that, I just thought it was so interesting and how he loved the Berkey. But then because our water has so many toxins in it, it just was no longer doing the job that it needed to do because of all the toxins that the water is exposed to.
Well, there's that. And then there's also issues with him distilling the water. Because when you're, when you're drinking water that, that has no minerals in it, like it's distilled water, it demineralizes you. It doesn't just not get into your cells, it actually leaches minerals from your, from your body. You'll actually deplete yourself of minerals. There's other things that do that too. Sugar's a bit one of the big demineralizers as well. But if you're drinking distilled water, it's problematic, you know what I mean? Because it just does not have— um, it literally will act like a void and it will take, you know, from you. So that's a scary concept, you know, if you think about it from that perspective. Um, the reason people are drinking water is to— so it benefits them, you know, certainly as, as far as their overall function is concerned. But the last thing people are thinking is that they're drinking something that's actually taking from them, you know. So that's a really big deal. Um, you know, it's interesting, like Veda Austin's work with her, um, looking at how water holds memory is very interesting. And with structured water. It, it's interesting in, in regards to how structured water influences our cells and our tissues, right? So, um, I'm excited to see— I actually wanted to talk about how you were sharing last time how it increases a person's metabolism because that sounded like it was like significant. With how much it was increasing people's metabolism, it was significant. Yes.
Mm-hmm. Yeah.
Crazy.
I mean, absolutely crazy.
Yeah. Because I think about, like, if you could improve your metabolic function just by drinking water, that's— I mean, who wouldn't sign up for that? Absolutely. And then it leads to better function, but it also leads to, as a kind of a side note, fat loss, you know, just by drinking the water, not even adding extra exercise, not even adding extra anything, just by drinking the water. Right. That's pretty incredible. Yes. Water changes, water distribution can affect— like, I used to have an InBody in my office in Vegas, and when you would when it would— it works, uh, via bioelectrical impedance. And so it's literally like measuring, measuring how much water that you have in your body relative to the tissues, right? So people who would get on that that were dehydrated, it would actually show less muscle mass, that they had less muscle mass than they did, that the weight distribution was off. Um, when they were hydrated, their muscle mass would increase. Isn't that interesting?
That is so interesting. How did you figure out that that was going on?
I mean, it's pretty well known. It's not really, right? Um, you can also correlate things, right? Like when you're doing different kinds of testing, you can correlate that there's a relationship, like you would see the same thing in different aspects. Right. But yeah, their muscle mass, if it's not retaining fluid, if they're, if their muscles don't have the fluid that they need, it will look less. And that, that seems like common sense, right? But it looks like they have less muscle mass. So it's very interesting. Yeah.
So when we talked about last week how we talked about like just the shriveling that happens. On the outside and in the skin. So, and that would also happen in the organs. So it would make sense that it would also happen in the muscle.
Yeah, it's, um, yes. And so I'm excited to see, and that would affect the function of the muscle too, right? It would affect the function of that. Um, so just hydrating someone is gonna be huge for this, the health of somebody's muscle mass, in my opinion, and function of that. So it does make sense from that perspective that it would help metabolism, you know? Yeah, for sure.
Well, and then when you think about if you have that, uh, increase and better, more functional, more hydrated muscle mass, then the, you know, the downstream effect, like what you get because your muscles are better hydrated, how that then just affects your overall health.
Yeah, absolutely. Yeah. I mean, it can be exponential, right? Because if that's improving the function of your muscle, it can be huge in your ability to you know, certainly endurance, certainly, you know, strength, all those things, which then, right, translate into—
Yeah. So Margie's asking if it would help with arthritis or, you know, conditions with inflammation.
I was going to mention that. So I was watching a video of another doctor talk, and sometimes I honestly just think people already know these things. So I don't really talk a lot about it, but she was like talking about the fact that, hey, you know, it isn't just that you have arthritis, or it isn't just that you have cancer, it isn't just that you have these things. Ultimately, the common denominator underneath there is that you have chronic inflammation, right, that contributes to these things. Ultimately, there's things that contribute to the inflammation that have to be dealt with. But the chronic inflammation— like, you could have somebody walking around that has arthritis, and that doesn't mean that they're always inflamed. You know, they could have arthritis and not be in pain, not have pain. And pain is certainly a sign of inflammation. Um, but if you're— that's what I— you know, you, you could have arthritis and you may or not be not be inflamed at any given time. But ultimately, what contributes to the pain that you feel when you have arthritis is inflammation. Does that make sense? Yeah. Yeah. So just like somebody could walk— be walking around with a damaged disc and it might not be bothering them all the time, it's just certain things may happen that aggravate it and then it flares up and then you could go to the doctor and be like, oh, it's because you have a, a disc issue. But it's something caused it to be inflamed. Does that make sense? Yes. Mm-hmm. So the focus really should be on the inflammation and reducing that and then figuring out all the things that could reduce it. But yes, the answer is like, that's one of the biggest things that they found. We've talked about that before with the water is that it can reduce inflammation, like and pretty instantaneously. Right, right.
That's what was crazy. Yeah, yeah. David Schmidt tells a story about his, um, uh, a guy that he wanted to come and work on his drone technology that was just a fantastic, uh, mechanic and scientist. And, um, I guess he couldn't because his hands— he was in so much pain and he couldn't even open his hands anymore, just so much pain in his fingers and his hands.. And so David went to see him and he put our patch technology on him along with having him drink a glass of the water. And within 15 minutes, his hands were open and his pain was completely gone. So which his hands hadn't been— he hadn't been out of pain in years, over a decade. Right. So, yeah, truly remarkable. And that's what's amazing is that because of that hydration helping to relieve inflammation and relieve pain, and then you also activating GHK copper peptide, it is, you know, considered the fountain of youth. And so it does reduce inflammation. It has about 30% effect on reducing inflammation. So being able to help from, you know, that instantaneous relief because it's reducing some of the inflammation and then long term just being able to have the regeneration in the body take place.
Yeah, absolutely. Yes. It's interesting how many people are being treated in the allopathic conventional paradigm because they have some pain somewhere and some, some evidence of an inflammatory condition. Like, that's a lot of people. Yes. Right? I mean, you think like cardiovascular disease, which is inflammatory based. Is like considered the number one killer, right? So if you can address what's causing that inflammation or reduce the inflammation, that can be huge.
Absolutely. Yeah. And that too, where GHK copper peptide comes in, it influences the entire cardiovascular system. So helping, you know, to support obviously with the inflammation like you're talking about, but long term, like I've seen people's heart conditions begin to reverse, PVC Disease completely go away, even so much so as like right branch bundle blockages, you know, like the Widowmaker. Not that should— is something that they've never seen go away. And there's been people where that has gone away as well. So it's amazing what the body can do when it's supported properly.
Well, the other one would be carnosine. Carnosine is absolutely known for that. Or which is another patch that this company makes and that carnosine can help repair the brain and the vascular system. So that one's a good one as well, for sure.
Yeah. And there was a recent study, a cardiologist recently did a study with the carnosine that's now published on PubMed and it, it shows, yeah, it shows absolute reduction reduction in injection fraction, significantly reducing, you know, the— or I should— the squeeze function of the heart, promoting it to do that properly. So yeah, so that, that's— and that's just been a recent study published as well. Yeah.
Yeah. So, and, you know, carnitine helps with muscle I would say muscle repair as well. And obviously the heart's a muscle, so that's— it's good for that. Yeah, there's just so many things, right?
Mm-hmm. Combining— Margie's asking another question. So she's at— so she's got pain in her left knee due to spurs. And then of course, the, you know, the inflammation with arthritis. So Um, so I don't know if you have any points, pointers for her on the spurs, um, in her knee.
But yeah, it's interesting. Um, there are things that you can do, some natural things that you can do besides the technology, right, which she's already using. And then obviously when the water unit comes out, that will be great. But if you want to help with kind of a remodeling of the knee? Have— has she tried any kind of castor oil packs on the areas where there's the spurs?
Yeah, so Margie let us know in the chat about castor oil packs. Yeah, castor oil packs are fantastic.
It can help break down, um, areas where you have something like spurs. I mean, we know that a lot of people use that too for gallstones. Kidney stones, things like that, to help break those things down. Um, you just apply it to the area. You have to do it consistently, obviously, over time, but that can be helpful.
Yeah, she's saying she has not tried that yet.
Yeah, it's a consideration. Um, getting the inflammation down would be huge, just so that's not getting worse. The development of that is not getting worse.
She said she has taken the castor oil pills.
You need to apply it because that, that's not— you need to apply it specifically to the area that you want it to work on. Because taking castor oil pills, it's not going to go to your knee, you know what I mean? You know, it won't go to— you know what I'm saying? So like, you need to apply it topically. Like with a pack and then apply the castor oil on top of that and apply it to that area. And then you just need to do it consistently. And so it doesn't necessarily have to be daily, but I would say probably at least 3 times a week.
Yeah, something like that. And I, I would always do my castor oil packs at night, so I would just sleep in them. So Margie, I have bought from a company called Queen of Thrones, and so they have, you know, they have they'll have one that you can use over your knee because you could use any of them, like even the liver one that they are the pack or whatever that they have. And they have a roll-on that I love. So a little rollerball. So the castor oil is in there and then you don't have to touch it. You can just roll it on whatever area you need and then you tie that pack over the top of it. And then I would just sleep in them. That's what I would do.
I kind of soak the pack pretty good and then apply and then tie the pack on. I kind of do it that way, um, just so you get plenty on there. Yeah. Um, yeah, and you can apply it to the areas that you want to see a remodeling happen or a breakdown of gallstones, like I said, or kidney stones. You can apply it to those areas.
They're great for cysts as well, right?
The castor oil. Yeah, yes, exactly. Yep. Um, yes, so I would try that. Um, so we still haven't got any word yet on the release of the water unit, huh?
No, not yet. I— they were having, uh, I guess some issues with, um, oh, uh, no, I forget what he's— not scanners, that's not the right word. Um, there was something that was misfiring and so they needed to correct that. So yeah, hopefully it won't be too much longer, but that's good.
Yeah, I'll mention one other thing that can help break kind of bone remodeling is ultrasound. So, you know, you can go to practitioners and if they have an ultrasound unit, they, they can use it in a way that it will break down the bone spurs, but you have to do a certain amount of treatments. The castor oil, you obviously, you can just do that at home, but something like the ultrasound works, but you have to go through a series of treatments.
Yeah. Um, do you know anyone in Tulsa? Did you make any connections here that you would recommend?
I don't know, because you'd have to find out if they have an ultrasound where they were, you know, would do that. Um, but I, I don't. Yeah, because not every practitioner offers that. Right, you'd have to call around and ask, so I'm not sure. But, um, yeah, the other thing we were talking last week about digestion and basically being able to absorb nutrients and things like that, right, the digestive system in general, and I have a guide, a digestive guide. It's like dietary guidelines and digestive guide. If somebody wants that, just let me know and I can send it because it's just really like basic things that you should do. But it does kind of like I said, it kind of surprises me sometimes. Like I think, oh, people must know this, but they don't, you know. Like when you give it to them, they're like, oh, I wasn't aware, you know. And that's why I give it to them, because it's simple things that you can do to promote digestion. And it's just good to be paying attention and be aware because it can make all the difference.
Yeah. Yeah. Margie's saying yes. If you'll get it to me, I can get it to her. Yeah. So absolutely. Yes, that'd be fantastic. And she's also asking, so if she's going to call around to find out who has ultrasound unit, what— how should she ask for that?
I would just— I would call and I would say, hey, I had— I'm going off of some advice from another practitioner I have. So I'm calling to see, do you guys offer ultrasound treatments to like help break down or get rid of bone spurs? And just ask that, right? Say, yeah, another practitioner told me that ultrasound can do that.. And so is that something that you would offer? And it would probably mostly be, you know, chiropractors or, you know, where they offer those kind of treatments in their, in their office, like sports therapy, sports medicine, chiropractors, you know, maybe physical therapy offices might, you could try. And they just have to have an ultrasound where they use it for rehabilitation purposes.
Yeah. Yeah. Awesome. So she put an interesting thing in here, which I know it's kind of a, you know, on the— everybody's kind of talking about drinking mushroom coffee. So what are your thoughts on that? She said she's been drinking that as well.
Yeah, I'm curious, like, if she—
does she like it? Yeah, tell us, Margie, if you like it. I bought some thinking it was going to taste good. I bought some for my daughter because I think it was, like, supposed to help with digestion. And all of that. And so I thought, okay, this might be something good for her to try. And we mixed it up and she could not drink it. And I thought, oh, Margie's saying she loves it. Okay.
Yeah.
And I was like, okay, maybe it's the brand. Yeah.
Tell us what brand it is, Margie.
It might be. Yeah. So I was like, oh, okay, I'm going to have to figure out some things to add to this because I'm not— I bought it, so I'm going to take it. But I just like, I couldn't get my daughter to take it. Yeah, she's like, no, Mom, I'll do a lot of things you have me do, but that's a no.
You know what's so funny is there is so much nutritional benefit to different types of mushrooms. There's benefit to your immune system, right? There's benefit— can be benefit certainly to the digestive system. I think I mentioned this last time, but like plants have their own consciousness and it, their consciousness works with our consciousness and that's part of the healing aspect, you know? And so different mushrooms have different benefits. And, um, I mean, I think with like anything though, with so many things, a lot of it's about consistency, you know? Mm-hmm. That's why I, for sure. Right. That's why we do clinical nutrition in my practice, because, you know, and I do programs with people because it's the consistency over time that you're going to see the change, not just the occasional drinking something, not just the occasional. I mean, you can use things therapeutically on occasion, like kava is very good for calming the nervous system. And so that, that is something that you can use at the time. You just got to use the right amount to get the result. That you're looking for, you know. So there are situations where there are some things that could be used and it's a temporary thing because maybe you have anxiety that day or whatever and it helps. But if you're trying to rebuild anything and rehabilitate anything, it's all about consistency. And certainly supporting function is all about consistency, you know.
Yeah, absolutely. Yeah. She said she takes it first thing in the morning and the reason she started was to help with digestion. The brand is RYZE.
Ryse.
Oh yeah, I've heard of Ryse. Yeah, she puts heavy whipping cream with it and she said it's really good. Okay. I love heavy whipping cream.
Yeah. So yeah, like as long as, as long as Sonya doesn't have a casein allergy or anything like that, they can do the whipping cream. Otherwise you're gonna need to use the milk alternatives. But I would say there's a lot of other things that, and again, there's not a one size fits all for everyone, but some other things that are great for digestion are Certainly apple cider vinegar can be good. Even small amounts can be good. That can be beneficial. And then bitters, bitters, digestive bitters. I love if they really stim in this, especially if you get the right combination and the right kind that are, that are high quality. It can literally— there's this one I use with patients. It's a combination of bitters in a pill form. And it activates 25 different bitter receptors in a person's body. So it doesn't just help with digestion, it can actually help with the immune response. It can help with lung, lung function. It can help with allergies. It can help with a number of things, but it really stimulates your release of bile and your release of digestive enzymes and the drop in pH that's needed., for digestion to be good. Yeah. So I really like that.
Awesome.
Yeah. Yeah, that's awesome. I do think, well, if you wanted to do an alternative for coffee, then I, then that's probably a better option too, is the mushroom coffee because, you know, we've talked about this before. So many of us are doing things that are very dehydrating. Mm-hmm. And it's like you're dehydrated to begin with, and then you're adding something to your system every day that dehydrates you more. It really can make a, have an impact for sure. Right. Cumulative impact in the negative. Absolutely. Negative cumulative. Yeah. So I think that's good. You know, if it's not, if it's something that's not dehydrating you for sure.
Yeah. Yeah. Awesome. Well, anything else you want to add? I know we are just about out of time for our 30 minutes. So anything else? Let's— oh, Margie's saying, yeah, that's why she switched to mushroom coffee.
Let's get away from the coffee. That's awesome. Yeah, just finding an alternative, I think, is very helpful, and one that you like, you know, because at a certain point when you feel like you've given that up and you miss it, you're probably going to go back to drinking that coffee. So it's good to know that you like that one and it's good.
So maybe your daughter should try the Rise. Yes. Yeah, yeah, I have right now. She doesn't want any more suggestions for me. I have her on a parasite cleanse. And anyway, so I think I've got her tapped out with that. I think she has a couple more months and then she'll be She'll be ready for, you know, we'll go from there, see what's next.
But yeah, she's doing a parasite cleanse right now.
Oh, fun.
Fun. Yeah. They're not really that bad necessarily. I feel like a lot of people can go on them and they're like, did anything even happen?
Yes. The one, the company that I use, like, you always know. I mean, if you look in the toilet, you know.
I think a lot of people, though, like, they look and they just think it should look different. Right? They just think it should look different than it does. Yeah. And it doesn't always look like you think it would look. Yeah.
If that makes sense.
Yeah. Yes, absolutely. Yeah. So it's good to know. Yes. But, and I think, you know, if we have animals, it's also a consideration. Do they also need some support where that's concerned? Because that's certainly one of the risk factors when you have pets. Pets that you can get exposure. So it's always a consideration. Yeah, absolutely. For sure.
So they can be healthy too. That's right.
Yes.
Yeah. If you have pets, you definitely need to do parasite cleansing.
That's for sure. Yeah. Yeah. I'm excited to see how the water, um, supports pets.
Oh, I didn't even think about that.
That's a great idea. Yeah, I think it's going to be good. And just to see, you know, how they respond to it. And yeah, I think it's going to be awesome.
I'm excited about that. Yeah, absolutely. Well, thank you so much for coming on here with me tonight. It's always such a treat to get to chat with you. And it was so fun, Margie, having you on asking questions. That's why we do these, so that everybody can come on and ask questions. And it's just so nice to have access to an amazing doctor, um, you know, just to be able to ask a few questions and tailor something or change, tweak something a little bit in your health routine. So please join us. We do this almost every Monday night. We switch back and forth from Dr. Caroline's channel and then our Facebook page and my Facebook page. So anyway, thank you all so much. Thank you, Dr. Caroline, for being on again.
We appreciate you so much. Yeah, thank you for having me, Nikki. And then we'll see each other next Monday, same time on my channel. That sounds great.
Thanks, Margie, for all your questions. Yes, absolutely. Good night, everybody.
Thanks for joining us.
