Vickie's Foot Surgery

Good evening, everyone. Thank you so much for joining us this evening. We are so excited you're here. I'm Nikki Lea McCutchen. I'll be your host this evening. Just know that whoever invited you to the call tonight must really care about you to want you to know about this technology. We have a little bit of an unusual situation tonight. We are getting to hear two amazing stories, and so we'll do each for 30 minutes, and I'll stop the recording in between, and then we'll go back and, uh, turn it on again so they each have their own individual recordings. Um, but it's, it's, uh, we all get in this situation sometimes, and this technology is here for that too, and it helps us recover from things like that as well. So Vicki, please come on and tell us what has been going on with you. Thank you, Nikki.

It's always a pleasure to be able to share any testimony. You know, like we were saying with Judy, anything that this technology does for you is huge, right? So, um, yeah, I had, um— this year has been kind of challenging for me between the torn bicep That surgery went well. And then I had foot surgery. The foot surgery was different than the bicep surgery for me, so I couldn't really compare because I've never had foot surgery. So everything went well with the surgery and I'm thankful for that. But what I was told was that I was going to be awake for the whole procedure. Well, I started to get anxiety and the panic started to set in and I was thinking to myself, Oh my goodness, I'm going to feel all this pain. And I just started freaking out. And the anesthesiologist said, what's the matter? And I said, I don't want to feel the pain. I was worried that I was going to feel the pain. He said, oh, you won't feel a thing. So he left the room and I was— me and my husband and we prayed. You know, he's my— they're my comfort, my support team, thankfully. And I looked on the wall and it said something about the medication that they use to inject in the foot. So that way I could stay awake, I wouldn't feel the pain. And I Googled it, and it's what they use for, um, gosh, I can't think of— epidurals. And I said, that's all you had to tell me to the anesthesia, that's all you had to say, and I would be fine. So I got the medication, I didn't feel a thing, I was awake for the whole procedure, everything went well. I was in there cutting it up, cracking up with the doctor, the assistants, we were all laughing. And you hear the drills, you know, all this stuff, uh, you know, I was just like trying not to hear it. So I was to laugh and talk over it. My husband said he could hear me in the other room. So that was definitely, um, challenging. It was an experience, and I'm so thankful that I didn't feel a thing. So everything went well, um, with the surgery. I got my bunion repaired. I had a broken toe and a hammertoe, so they were all on the same foot, and I guess that's why the healing is a lot different than just the bicep surgery. So for me, um, just trying to be able to get in the right mindset for something like this you know, that goes a long way because sometimes your mindset is everything. So for me, it was, you know, just knowing, like, when you want to kind of get through some kind of healing process, there's 3 parts involved, you know, your mind, your body, and your spirit. So mentally, physically, and spiritually. And through this, God was— I was getting closer to God, you know. So it was definitely a blessing. And, you know, just sharing with me that I need to have patience for myself, you know, to be able to take time and and not always do, do, do and go, go, go, which is what I always do. And him just, you know, revealing more of himself to me through this process, I was just blessed through it. But also the number 3 means completeness and wholeness. And, you know, God wants our body to be whole. That's how he created us, right? So I just say, you know, we were designed by God the Creator. He blessed us with this amazing technology. So why not use it, right? I mean, there's nothing to fear. You know, it's a patch. You place it on. You're not injecting anything. You're not ingesting anything. You're not placing anything that's going to go into your bloodstream. So, I mean, there's nothing to fear at all, right? And I'm thankful for this because, you know, just coming out of the procedure, I could take these patches and place it on the boot on my foot, you know, try to get the swelling, the pain down. So it works, you know, it works through clothing, it works through material, you know, and God wants us to share it with others. So that's another thing. And, you know, a while back, one of the best decisions I ever made besides marrying my husband, of course, was that I didn't want to accept the, the bad family genes. You know, seeing all of these family members pass away or having health issues and struggles, I didn't want that for myself. And I was like, there's got to be something more. When the doctors tell you there's nothing more they can do for you, you got to check out your options, right? So, you know, just kind of like making that decision for myself. Being committed and invested in my health, that really, really made a huge difference for me. So I'm thankful that I made it through. You want to show the pictures?

Oh, this is not— this is the after. Sorry. No. Well, I don't know where it went. I had it. I thought I had it all queued up. There we go.

So yeah, I got this amazing little boot. It's like a moonwalk boot. That's what I felt like. You know, the foot was in there and you could pump it up with the air to kind of protect it. I had to walk around with some crutches for a while, which was— I'm thankful I had the crutches, that's for sure. But yeah, that That was at my mom's. I went out because my twin's birthday. I did all of that, got back home a week later. I didn't know what was under the boot because I hadn't taken it off for a whole week. I was scared if I took the boot off, I wouldn't be able to get my foot back in there. Now, when I had the pins in it, I was going to be like freaking out. So I said, just leave the boot on. You know, I would take my bird baths and wash my hair in a different area. I'll be fine. I'll make it. So when I got to the doctor's office and they took it off, I was like, hmm. Oh my goodness. Just knowing that I had the pins in there and the stitches and— yeah, so this was a week after the surgery and you can kind of go to the next. Yes. Yeah, I think it's the one back. Okay. The next one. I don't know why it's not like that, but so yeah, 2 weeks later I got the pins out. Thankfully I got the pins out. I didn't know I had pins in the bunion area, so that was a surprise when he just went and pulled it out, I went, oh, you know. So that was definitely painful. Probably the most painful part of the whole thing was just getting the pins removed. There was a little swelling in between, and that's why my foot pictures in the middle. But 4 weeks after my surgery, and this is the picture on the right-hand side. So I'm thankful I am able to walk up and down the steps, you know, normally. My broken toe is not broken anymore. It's a little crooked, but it's okay. I'll accept it. Thank you, Lord.

It's not just hanging there anymore. It's not just flopping around.

Yes. Now it really did, you know, having the bunion and all that stuff, it affected the circulation in my foot. Like my, my right foot would get numb a lot of the time, and it messed with my balance also. So working out, walking, you know, doing all those things. Um, and thankfully I just feel like I'm more grounded now because I have my balance back. So I'm thankful God saw me through this. And also A week after I had the surgery, we got our water machine in.

Praise the Lord.

So I was excited for the water also to help with my healing process as well. Now with the water machine, I was like, oh, this is like a triple whammy. I got, you know, my patches, I got the Synergize, I got the water. I'm going to really heal, like, really quickly, right? So of course, it gives you so much more energy for me anyway, mental clarity. Strength and stamina for working out, amazing, amazing. I cannot wait for you to try it when you get it. You're gonna love it. And lately I've been able to make less trips to the bathroom. So for me, because I drink a lot of water and fluids, I'm always going to the bathroom. So there was a period in my life where I couldn't void my bladder. So after the bladder mesh was removed, I had to self-catheterize in order to empty my bladder. So I'm thankful that I can take less trips to the bathroom now and my bladder is emptying all the way so I can actually feel the change and the difference that's happening. Now, the other day I felt like a flutter inside of my bladder, kind of felt like when you're pregnant and you have the baby and it moves inside, you feel that little flutter. And, you know, I just pray before I drink the water. And I was just like, when that happened, I was like, thank you, Lord. For, you know, using this technology and this water to help my body heal. So I'm just thankful and I'm excited for a lot of testimonials that are going to come our way with this amazing water and everything else, the technology. I used all of them. I did. Well, I put 2 sets of the 3YH, so I put one set on the top half of my foot and the other set on the bottom half of my foot. I used, I think at one point I had 2 sets of IceWave on there, an X39 and X49, and obviously I had Eon on it because of swelling and stuff. But the amazing thing was I had some swelling in my foot, but very minimal bruising. Like, I mean, I was surprised when he took the pins and everything out. There was like a little area by the bunion that had a little bruise and that was it.
