You don't need a math degree to build AI. Learn to code on Freecodecamp.org over a weekend, then build something. The speaker argues AI needs a symphony of talent, not just specialists, and that hands-on experience matters more than credentials.

There are some of you that are very— are specialists, we'll say, right? Are data scientists, mathematicians, statisticians, are classically trained in the art of algorithm development. But there's a whole bunch of us that are passionate about this work that don't have that classical training, that don't necessarily need it, right? We need a symphony of talent in order to build this technology in a way that everyone is served. And so I encourage those of you who are working in this space or want to work in this space, the technique that I use to get acquainted with artificial intelligence is to actually build it, right? To build the technology yourself. And so I'm gonna walk you through some use cases of where you can get started right now. If you don't know how to code, I encourage you, you learn at least a little bit. There's lots of ways to do that. There's a freecodecamp.org. You can go and learn in a weekend how to— you can learn enough code to build a POC, to build a project, to get your hands dirty, if you will, right? To get your fingers on a keyboard and see the power of these frameworks.
