In this brief spiritual monologue, the speaker explains the distinction between authority and power using the biblical story of Moses. He notes that God gave Moses power, demonstrated when Moses struck a rock to bring forth water, but later Moses attempted to strike the rock again without the proper authority, leading to disobedience. The speaker argues that power alone can produce results but, without authority, it becomes misguided or even evil, while authority without power leads to frustration because one knows the divine will but cannot act on it. He emphasizes that both authority and power are necessary and invites viewers to request a deeper discussion by saying “bless you.”

Chapters

You need to understand the difference between authority and power. The best way I can explain this is the case of Moses. God gave him power, and he saw what that power did when water came from a rock. And the second time he wanted to strike the rock, he had the power but not the authority. You see, the difference is power can make things happen, but if you don't have the authority to do it, then you will find yourself in disobedience. Power without authority is evil. You see, the authority that he was given was to speak to the rock. This is what creates a situation where you don't have to have any do-overs. When you're always trying to do it with power and not authority, you will constantly keep doing it and doing it and doing it, and it may work, but it would have worked the first time if you just listened to the instruction. Now, authority without power will leave you frustrated because you know what God wants you to do. You heard his voice, but you haven't developed yourself to understand the way in which you can accomplish it through him. You need both, but you also need to understand the difference. I'm gonna talk about this more in depth, and if you want to hear more, just say bless you, and I'll try to put something together.
