Hey guys, we're here at BiggerPockets Conference 2023. I'm here with Christian Osgood and we're going to talk about 2 things you need to know to get started in seller financing.
Number 1, if you want to be a real estate investor, you need to actually buy a piece of real estate. I stayed the 9 to 5 for 8 years saving up, bought a duplex, bought another duplex, ran out of money again with no money, bought a 38-plex, which brings us to rule number 2. You do not need money to play this game. Now, if you have it, you should invest it in real estate. I'm not saying you shouldn't have money, but if that is not a piece that you're starting with, learn creative finance. You can buy anything. Just make sure you buy it where it cash flows on long-term fixed rate debt.
