Hey YouTube, Cody and Christian, Miami edition. We are over in Florida, just wrapped up Growth Conference with Grant Cardone and his team. Phenomenal, phenomenal event, but we're here to share a few of the takeaways, and we're gonna start out with Christian.
All right, we're gonna have quite a few of these, but I'm gonna start with one of my biggest ones. There is just more money out there than you are aware. We heard from the CEO of Goldman Sachs, and one of the first things he said was there is just way more money and way more billionaires out there than you realize. That was one of the first things he realized when he got in the position is there is just more money than you know what to do with. So if your goals are, hey, I want to make it to my first $100,000 or I want to make it to $200,000, there is a lot, lot bigger pie for you to go after.
In addition to that, I learned that people are just accessible. I looked up some of the biggest people in the real estate space, sales space, just name negotiation, I was able to find their information online and reach out and actually start building a relationship with those people. At this event, I realized everybody, whether they're a billionaire worth $10 billion, worth a million dollars, anywhere in between, you can reach out to them and they're just normal people. They are that accessible and you just have to go make the contacts. You can go build that relationship.
The way that Cody and I go so fast when we're buying real estate is we don't add steps. Something we learned in that drill, calling biggest people, talking to the largest names in the industry. You can call them directly. You don't have to scale up with little people and one contact at a time. If you have a product or an idea that you absolutely believe in, ask someone, ask a celebrity for 2 minutes of their time. Hey, I have an idea. I want to talk to you about how we can collaborate. Our circle drill that we talked about, we applied that to them. It works exactly the same as calling the owner next door to you.
You can do that, these drills, at any level. And we got to see some of the mentees here. We got to just hang out, relax. But at the end of the day, the biggest takeaway is that you need to be investing your money into yourself. There's a lot of people that are afraid of doing this. Every time we're like, oh my goodness, we're spending X amount on tickets, we're spending this much on food and travel and hotels and Airbnbs. It's a lot of money, but at the end of the day, we get reminded every single year that it's 100% necessary. It's painful to write the check sometimes, but it is 100% needed. If we didn't do this event, it would have added years to our timeline on the business.
Another huge takeaway from a lot of the big players, humility. We talked to people with their spouses, we had people who work, like, hectamillionaires who work under Grant Cardone. Massive successes by themselves, but they know their role and they paired with him because they know they can go farther together. Knowing who you are and your role on your team, what you bring and where you place, sometimes that means you have to be humble.
Yeah, so this is a short video, guys, but if you want to get more of these takeaways, go to these events. 100% worth it. I'm not just saying Cardone's events. There's a lot of events out there, but you need to be investing in yourself to get these takeaways for yourself.
And when you go, sometimes there's time to go to sell product or to go work. Sometimes you have to go just to get perspective. Have a purpose going to that meeting and write out your takeaways coming out of it. Going into GrowthCon, this event is for us to remember how how big other players are and how much we can grow. It is an internal time for Cody and I. Remember when you go into event why you're going there. We got so much out of this.
Awesome. Well, as always guys, like, comment, subscribe, and we'll see you guys next time.
