Christian Osgood explains two ways to speed up multifamily investing: find the 5-6 active owners in any 30,000-person market and connect with one or two of them for community access, then partner with one or two brokers who actually list multifamily deals instead of cold-calling dozens of agents.

So how exactly do you go faster in multifamily? You've already bought a few houses, you're getting started, or you're just starting from zero. How do you actually accelerate and go faster? I just got this question in the mentorship call today, and the answer is actually fairly simple. Number 1, per every 30,000 people in any market, there's usually 5 or 6 owners showing most of the stuff. You want to meet 1 or 2 of them. As soon as you get connected, they'll introduce you to the rest of the players. Now you're on the inside. And number 2, you need a couple of brokers who represent a lot of the deals. You want to look for the people who are actually listing multifamily deals. Again, this isn't calling 1,000 people. It's finding the 1 or 2 really active brokers in your market who can get it done and who want to work with you. Good luck out there.
