Christian Osgood's group is buying and fixing up abandoned buildings in Stephenville, Texas to house low-income residents that landlords won't take. They've renovated properties infested with mold and bed bugs, and Osgood says they'll keep doing it even if locals think they're ruining the town.

All right, we haven't done a roast like this for a while, but I am fired up. We launched this video on why we love Stephenville, Texas, while we're providing affordable housing here. And there was a huge need. We went to all the adjacent housing authorities and housing groups. They're like, yeah, we can't place people. None of the landlords help us work with low-income housing. Very, very hard. Lots of people to place. We come in, we offer subsidized housing, and we bought these buildings where we had to clean up mold, bed bugs, fire alarms were like 10 years out of date. So basic safety and livability are not being met. We provide affordable housing. This is what the locals who didn't fix the problem do. They could have bought these deals. They could have helped their community. But no, we come in and clean up stuff and go, you're ruining your town. We want the homeless. We don't want people in houses. We don't want— we want bedbug units. We love hoarders. It's like, guys, clean up your shit or we'll do it for you. But either way, these people need housing. We're going to go ahead and provide it. Love this town. Love the economics. Love the people. Except for this guy.
