Four attendees share what they're changing after the Robin Hood event. They plan to get aggressive on deal sourcing, define a personal buy box aligned with their goals, master one market deeply, and find a mentor. Christian Osgood's team helped them avoid common mistakes in multifamily investing.
Is there anything that you will do differently after coming to the event from what you've done before?
A lot of things. I'm definitely going to be more aggressive at finding deals and underwriting deals, thinking deeper on how to finance them.
I think definitely having a focus, creating a buy box, like asking myself what's my goal in life, what kind of lifestyle do I want, and cater my business buy box to that so that I'm not scattered in different directions trying different things out, seeing if I like them or not, and just really just do one market, learn it so well that when a deal comes through, I'll spot it before anyone else and I can pull the trigger.
We've learned a lot from the people coming here that just bought and told us a few of their little things, and Christian helped them out tremendously. So that leads us to not make those same mistakes.
Great event. First time coming to this event with Multifamily Strategy. I learned so much about how the numbers work. What do you do? Deal, debt, equity. Incredible. I recommend if anybody, if you're transitioning from single-family property, you want to get into apartment buildings, find your market, find a mentorship that's going to elevate you or teach you what you need to do. Christian Osgood, his team is amazing.
