Here's a landlord special done right. This tub, rusted, cracked, super gross. Instead of replacing it, we just painted over it. But we did it with a professional company that actually does a professional sealing. We fill in all the cracks with everything dry, and they go ahead and do a full coating over it. If you're looking at throwing out or replacing a gross and rusted tub, you might be able to salvage it. Check it out. It's just called coating the tub instead of replacing it. A lot less expensive, and if you have an otherwise good tub, could save you a lot of money.
