New way for Meta to sensor content

Christian Osgood shows how Meta automatically turns on a "Reduce by Fact-Checking" filter in Instagram that hides posts based on Meta's fact-checkers. He walks through Settings & Privacy > What You See > Content Preferences to find it, and how to turn it off if you want to see more posts.

Meta just did a sneaky little thing to your Instagram so they can censor the content that you see based on what they want to show you. Check it out. You can actually change it in your settings. On your Instagram account, go to Settings and Privacy, top right. Click the top option. Go in. Now you're going to go down to What You See and Content Preferences. All the way down, Reduce by Fact-Checking. If you go there, they automatically select the middle option, the default, to reduce what you see by what they decided to fact-check. Uncheck that and you're good to go.
