Someone quit their 9-to-5 after 15 months of real estate investing by building a portfolio of 25 to 30 rental units: single-family homes, duplexes, and a 10-unit office building. They mixed long-term rentals, mid-term leases, and short-term rentals to replace their salary.

Ended up quitting my day job after 15 months of investing, built up a portfolio of about 25 doors at that time. And now I'm sitting at what you mentioned, 30 doors, combination of single families, duplexes, all the way up to 10 units in an office building, which is kind of fun and kind of a mixed strategy between long-term rentals, a couple midterm rentals, and then 2 short-term rentals as well. That is absolutely amazing.
