Silver and gold suck as investments. We invest for cash flow. You cannot retire off a portfolio of gold bricks. But Christian, it's pretty. Yes, it is. I have a brick of silver. It is a very expensive paperweight. I like my brick. I will not retire on my brick. My one little brick of silver has yet to pay me rent. It's about to get evicted. It's a good store of value, but it's a stupid investment.
