I'm on a mission to turn this resort into the ultimate Pacific Northwest experience. Now we're on Washington State's Hood Canal. I bought this in my 20s for $4.5 million, 4.5% interest, seller financed. I had absolutely no money. Today we are doing one of my favorite rental projects. We're going to come in and we're going to landscape the daylights out of this. Now I have 13 acres. They look like this. See all this blank space in here? While we are in a beautiful forest, we have the creek and we're right next to the saltwater. We are going to be planting 20,000 bulbs, hyacinths and daffodils. All over here. If you're asking why hyacinths and daffodils, they're deer resistant and we have a lot of epic wildlife here and we want to respect that wildlife. But the problem that I am looking to solve at this resort is how do we make this a fun place to be in the off-season? Spring is what we call the shoulders where people are starting to come in, but it's still rainy and still cold. It's Washington State. It's when all the flowers come in. So how do we do this? We make this one of the best nature retreats in the state. So check it out. By this time next year, this will be the most beautiful resort to be in in Washington State.
