Stop scaling when you can cash out enough to hit your goals. Stabilize, regroup in six months, and avoid the trap of endless growth that burns through resources. The speaker and Christian are testing this approach now.
Cody, when do we stop scaling? Well, you take a look at everything that you've built, and if you can hit all your current goals by cashing out a few chips on the table, you should absolutely stop scaling, stabilize the universe, and then regroup after 6 months. This is something Christian and I are doing actively right now. We've done enough to make everything we wanted to make, and now we're cashing out a couple chips, and then we'll reroll in 6 months. You want to be successful in this? Hit your goal and go ahead and call it. If you scale forever, you eventually will go bust. Stop rerolling, hit your target, and pay it all off.
