Would you works at a 70% discount?

Christian Osgood supports a 70% tax on income above $2 million. When asked if he'd keep working at that rate, another speaker says he'd stop working, furlough his employees, and go fishing instead once he hit the threshold.
You think that I should pay 70% of my income above $2 million in tax?
Yes. Do you think your next dollar should be taxed?
Okay, so if that's the deal, you know what I would do? Once my income got to $2 million, I would stop working for the year. I would furlough my employees and say, you know what, I've made my limit. I'm not going to work for 30 cents on the dollar. I'm playing golf. I'm going fishing. I'll see you next February.
As someone who makes just over $2 million a year, and it is so hard, so hard as an entrepreneur to finally get there, I would do the exact same thing. If it helps for context, imagine that you are a 4.0 4.0 student. In fact, there's 3 4.0 students in your class. You're one of the top people. There's a handful of students with a 2.0. Just because they only earned a 2.0, should you give them 1 point so all of you can have a 3.0 GPA? It's fair, right? It's equitable, right? You put in the work. Why would we lower your grade? That's exactly how business works. If we're actually successful, we've actually created a product that you want to buy. We've made a business, we've taken on the debt, we've done the risk. Why would I want to give that to the government of all places? It doesn't even make it to the poor. Tax the rich is another way to say let's make everyone poorer.
