A landlord painted over every problem in an Airbnb instead of fixing them: crumbling ceilings, light switches, waterproof flooring that isn't. The speaker walks through with exaggerated gratitude for the cosmetic band-aids masking actual neglect.

All right, the Airbnb landlord special. Beautiful white paint on the walls. The ceilings are just barely falling in, but that's okay. They did a good job of painting over them for the most part. Switches painted over. Come down to the trim, cut to perfection. Look at that. Excellent flooring, completely waterproof. Yeah, this is Airbnb at its finest. Absolutely no water damage. This roof will probably stay up the whole trip.
