Hello everybody. It's Marcus from PageProof here, going through the first of the PageProof Academies for 2024. So today we're going to go through the 12 Days of Christmas. So of course, a lot of you will know that with PageProof, we love advent calendars here. A lot of team members really get into the festive season. And what we have done is over the last few years, we've taken the idea of an advent calendar and we put it into product. And the great thing with that is it's a, it's a great time for the PageProof team. And it's a fantastic time to be a PageProof customer as well, because you get a new feature each day for 12 days in December. So what we're going to go through today is a recap. And we will very quickly go through and just summarize each of those features so that you have a good idea on, you exactly what they were and how they relate and how you could use them. And I will also point out where some of the new areas will have future PageProof Academies for those as well, just to go into some of the detail. So here I have a proof here. We're going to see a lot of cats and kittens and dogs today. So let's just jump in and take a look at this proof. So this proof here has multiple pages, and this has been created by uploading and drag and dropping multiple files at once. So if you've got a folder of 10 JPEGs, or maybe you've got, you know, a JPEG, a PDF, 3 PNGs, you can drag those all at once onto the page proof file dropper and we will combine those into one proof. Now, that's something we're going to talk about a little bit later on. But feature number 1 is when you go in and take a look at the page grid, it will show you all of the different files that you have inside of your proof. So you can see below each one of these files, you can see the name of the file. So here is the cat.jpg and cat2.jpg, and then there's a Word document. You can see that's multiple pages, another JPEG, and then a PDF at the end here. And one thing I will point out is that the Finish button is available on the screen. So someone can view all of these parts of the proof and they can make their decision there. But of course, you're thinking to yourself, well, hang on, I need to get a better view of those. How, how can I see a bit more detail? Well, we added down in the bottom left-hand corner a zoom. So you can zoom this up and take a better look at the pages inside of this view. So now you can get in, take a look at the imagery and what's sitting inside of here. And if you like what you see, you can simply make a decision. Boom. And that makes your decision on all of those files inside of this one proof. So that is the bulk approvals feature of PageProof and also the page grid zooming so you can get a far better view of exactly where your pages are and what they look like. Okay, let's jump on to number 2. So number 2 is a Mac app. So now you can go to the Mac App Store and you're able to download the PageProof desktop app. So this is the PageProof desktop app here, and you can see PageProof desktop, it gives you the desktop app. This is now in the dock, so you can, you can actually run PageProof as an app on your Mac. And this just gives you the full functionality of PageProof, but now inside of an app as opposed to having to have it inside of your browser. There is also a Windows app which does exactly the same thing. The advantage of this is that there's no need for you to install a browser plugin if you happen to be doing any web proof. So here we are inside of the, inside of the app for for the Mac. If I click on a web proof, it's very simply going to open that web proof up and show us that website running without the need to install any add-ons or any plugins into Chrome or anything like that. It's all self-contained in the Mac app and also the Windows app for PageProof. So there you have it. You go to the Apple App Store, search for PageProof Desktop. And if you go into the Windows Store, you just search for PageProof Desktop and you better install those for your use. So that is number 2. Okay, racing along. One for the people that work inside of Asana. So now inside of Asana and the integration, if you are using Asana, if you go into your team menu, be the team administrator here and go into integrations. When you go into the settings for Asana, so click on the little cog icon here. There's a new option at the very bottom here, which is upload, upload approved files to tasks. So once a file is approved, then it copies that approved file back in as an attachment inside of your Asana task. So this is super helpful, especially if you're using Asana as your single source of truth and you want the approved files appearing inside of Asana, then you're able to do that. So that is number one on this one. And the other one is when it comes to internationalization, we've added Chinese traditional, so that now we have that as an option inside of languages we support here inside of PageProof. So those two were bundled together as number 3. Getting on to number 4 of the 12 Days of Christmas. Number 4 is a new report. So for those that are team administrators, there is an enterprise report. And this enterprise report, when you click on, you'll see it down the bottom here. It's called Reviewer Activity on Proofs. And what this does is it gives you, essentially, when you go here, You can put in the email of the person that you would like to know about their reviewer activity and a date range if it is required as well. And this will simply give you all of the decisions and everything about that reviewer in terms of activity, which is a great productivity and KPI report which you can use for PageProof Enterprise. So there is a new report for day 4. Day 5 is something that if you are a proof owner, or a team administrator, this is something that really, really makes things a lot easier for your reviewers. So when you upload a proof into PageProof and you send out that, that link gets sent out and someone picks up their phone and they open the proof on their phone and they think, oh, I'll have a look at that later on. And then they go over to their desktop computer, open that link. Previously, PageProof would have prompted them to create a password. The case now with Magic Access there is no need for your reviewer to create a password. They simply click on the link and PageProof gives them magic access to that proof. So no more creating passwords for your reviewers. We've made it as smooth as possible for them to just click and go straight into their proofs without the need for creating passwords. So removing friction there for your reviewers, which is super great for those times that you are sending out proofs to, you know, people on an ad hoc basis, or you've got someone who uses multiple devices, makes their life super easy. So that is magic access to proofs. The next one is a similar sort of access story. So here we are looking at number 6. And number 6 is briefs. So there are, there are people that have the briefing feature turned on, and briefing is a feature which is available for purchase for Teams Plus and Enterprise customers. And what this does is you can upload a piece of work into PageProof in the briefing area, you can mark it up, and then you can send it to a designer who then receives essentially a marked-up brief for them to create their first proof from. So it's a briefing feature which is designed for that kind of fast turnaround, quick brief, as opposed to a big long creative brief. But super useful for those small changes that you want to get done. And one thing people were asking us for was, can we just please have a share link on there? Well, here we are in the brief setup, share link. So now you can switch on the share link for your brief. And it means that other people can now view the brief when they are reviewing the proofs that came off that brief. So there we have it. That is available now as number 6 in the 12 Days of Christmas. I have a proof that I've already, already got in progress. And this is something that I guess a lot of people will be familiar with. And we've added the checklist feature earlier on in the year. And one of the things that was requested was, hey, I sent my proof out, but I forgot to add a checklist. No problem. Now, as the proof owner, you can go into the manage of a proof. And you can go into the manage area. And you'll see there's a new piece here that says Add Checklist. So the proof is already sent out, the workflow's already started. You can go into Manage and you can go to Checklist and add checklist to that proof even though it started. So that's a really useful feature. And you can also adjust the settings of it as well, which is if you've already added the checklist and you want to be able to make it required for final approval, open on proof loads, you can also adjust those settings once the checklist has been added in the proof is in motion. So more controls on your checklists, which is, which is really, really useful. Now when it comes to collections, but here, a collection of kittens and puppies. Yes, this was sent to me by, by somebody else. This is not my collection. It's great, but I still love it. This is a feature about auto-loading the next proof after you have given your decision on a proof inside a collection. So as you can see here, I've got a collection of multiple proofs. And if I go into the first one, and I take a look at this kitten, and I think, you know what, there's no changes I need to make here. So I go down to my finished button here, and I say this particular one is approved. PageProof pops up, and you can see it's showing me the next proof in the collection. And it loads that for me automatically. So I can simply go through my proofing, say yep, that one's approved. And then it says, right, we're going to auto open the next one, you can see the countdown going here. And then boom, there's the next one. So for your reviewers, sending them a collection, they get the best experience of walking through that collection because they can now do that proof by proof approval. And we auto load the next one in until the collection is all finally signed off. So that is the auto load feature inside of here. And you will notice as I did that, there is the ability to also control whether or not you can have the auto open on or off. So if I wanted to just sit here looking at this, I could, and the auto open is off. I can switch that on and the countdown starts again and we moved on to that proof. So there we have it. That was day 7 or number 7 of the 12 Days of Christmas, adding a checklist to a proof that's already in action and also the auto load for your collections. Okay, next one. So this is for the geeks that really, really want to have information sharing going on between different systems. So as a lot of you know, we have deep integrations with things like monday.com and Asana and, you know, Airtable and ClickUp. And we've got all this great data moving between these, between these systems. And those are native integrations that PageProof provides. Great. There is also that situation where you might have a proprietary system. It might be an internal job system that you have, your IT team have made themselves, or it may be another system that you just want to be able to send information to. Now your IT folks can go into the team menu inside of here, and we have webhooks inside of here. So I can just go into webhooks and you can create your own webhooks. What is a webhook? Well, I won't go into too much detail, but essentially it enables you to give obviously the webhook a name. You can then choose the event which you'd like the webhook triggered on. So proof created, proof status reached, or whatever it is. So, and then once it hits that thing that you are setting up inside of here, you can get the information sent to a particular URL. So that might be a URL to a system of your own or anything like that. So full flexibility, again, may not be something that a lot of designers are going to use, but particularly for IT folks and those doing integrations, this gives ultimate flexibility for sending information from PageProof to another system. Okay, so that is webhooks, which was day number 8. Number 9. Okay, so when it comes to proofs, we have a couple of features which were essentially released as a beta and are now released finally. So let me jump in and just show you exactly what that is. So you would know in the Magic Tools over on the left-hand side of the screen, there is a feature here called Import Comments from PDF. And this feature was in beta. It's now been— it's come out of beta. It has a couple of extra options inside of it. But what this lets you do for those that are new to it This is for you to import comments from a PDF. You got someone in an office down the hallway who just loves using Acrobat, and you're like, how do I involve them in the proofing process? Good news, import comments from a PDF. You just take their PDF, you drop it into here, and we will read all the comments off it and put it in as page proof markup so you can involve them in the process. And you'll see you can skip previously imported comments and also you're now able to, well, you're able to import comments as private comments as well if you have a PageProof Enterprise plan. So that is the PDF comment import coming out of beta and now available generally to everybody to use, which is super great. We released a new plugin for Adobe Photoshop. It's available in the, you get your app here. So you can come into your app and you can do a search for PageProof and you can add that in. And Then when you go into Photoshop, you get this new panel showing up. So this is the new page proof panel native for Apple Silicon and also for Intel-based Macs. Also works on Windows as well. And this is the new look and the new features for Adobe Photoshop. And this is what we will be releasing as we update Illustrator, as we update InDesign and all the other Adobe apps as well. So a new plugin for Adobe Photoshop now available, so you're able to use that. Okay, so that was day 9. All right, day 10, combining proofs. Now interestingly, combining proofs is a super, super, super popular feature of PageProofs. So you see the file dropper here? You can drag and drop 10 JPEGs, 40 JPEGs, 12 JPEGs, it doesn't matter too much. You can drop those and we'll prompt you to combine those into a single proof. Or it will make a collection. Well, we extended the support of that, JPEGs, PNGs, and we added the ability for you to add into that mix Photoshop files, Word documents, PDFs, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint. So you are able to take a bunch of different file types. So you can see down the bottom here, I've got like a Word document, we've got a JPEG, we've got a PSD here, and maybe we'll grab this PDF. So I can just drag and drop all those different file types onto the file dropper. It says, hey, would you like to combine those into one proof? And now I hit Combine and it'll just combine all 4 of those files into a single proof. And then that can go out for review. So this is an absolutely magic feature enabling you to have multiple file types inside one proof so that people can give you feedback on your work. Now, if you prefer the idea of creating a collection and having those separate, you just click individual here and it will make you a single proof for each one. So that option is still available. But this is a, a really great feature for those that are working with lots of files and you just want them all in one proof. Now we've extended that support. So it's JPEGs, PNGs. You can now add Word documents, Excel spreadsheets, PowerPoint presentations, PSD files, Illustrator files, and PDFs. All into one proof. So a really, really great addition there. And that is day number 10. Now day 11, this is where we're getting into a bit more information about monday.com. So this is the Monday Mega Update. And the great thing about the Monday Mega Update is there was a lot of updates inside of here. And the first thing I want to show you, and in fact, before I go into any detail here, the next PageProof Academy is going to be about detail of the Monday mega update. So those people using Monday, there is going to be in the next academy more detail. But let's jump in and look at a couple of things that we did. So first thing is we added more information into the card inside of the page preview. So now when you go and take a look at this little card here showing the proof that you've got run out in review, we've got a whole lot of summary information all inside of this card. So there's less need for you to actually jump out and take a look. More information is showing up inside of here, and you've got the ability to turn on and off what you care about. So you can switch off and switch on that information. So more control over the display of the information on the proof card, but also more information full stop on what's available there. Now, there were updates to the entire user interface of Monday and Page Proof. So again, I won't go into that necessarily much detail, We'll do that in an academy. But one thing I did want to show you was a combination of features which gives you a new way that you can use the PageProof and Monday integration. So there's a new recipe inside of our— inside of the Monday PageProof. So if you go to integrate, there's a new recipe inside of there and you can connect essentially a few components together so that you can auto-upload proofs into PageProof without leaving Monday at all. So let me show you that live. So here we are. I've got an item at the top here, this press ad. I've got the press ad. This is the JPEG— sorry, the PDF that's sitting inside of here. And I would like to send this proof out. Now, using a proof template, which is a feature I'm going to show you for day 12, all I do here is go to the proof status and I just say send first proof. So choose that, just say send first proof. And now if you look across, So here it is. We can see the status is now new. There's the link to open the proof. We've got the version inside of here. So that is just done. And now it's in proofing and it's sitting with the design team. So just shows you it's automatically done for you. My hands are here. I didn't set that proof up. And now if we go in, if we click on that link inside of here, that'll take us straight to the proof. And you'll see it's already all been set up with a checklist. And we've got all that information automatically all done inside of here. So automatically sending out proofs. From Monday is something that you can achieve without having to go to a PageProof proof setup screen. So that is the Monday mega update. And again, look for that PageProof Academy coming up very soon. The next one, in fact. Last one, day 12. So I've already alluded to it, but it's proof templates. So when we go and set up a proof, so if I say let's have a take a look and we grab a file here. That takes us to the proof setup screen. Now the proof setup screen, left-hand side, we've got this information about the proof. Right-hand side, we've got the reviewers, which are the workflows and checklists. Okay? So we can go through and set this all up if we want to. And the thing about that is, you know, there's a few things that you can go through and configure and, you know, but if you're doing a regular setup, it's the same every time that you do the proof, you can actually now take all of the screen, the entire of this proof setup screen, save it into a template. And the great thing then is that up the top you'll see Select Template. So I can just simply go, oh, it's a brand identity project, choose that, and boom, the setup's done. So you can see owners have been added, checklist has been added, we've got this message to reviewers, everything's been set up for us automatically, including putting it into the right collection. So that's just boom, done, just with one click. And if I go to packaging projects, you'll see it changes to a completely different setup. So you can have multiple of these proof templates and it just automatically sets up this proofing screen, which is absolutely magic. Now, I, I can actually send out a proof faster than you can type a subject line in an email. So I drag and drop, grab the right template and hit add to collection or send proof. And that's faster than you opening up Outlook, going new email, dragging an attachment. And by the time you type the subject line, this is already, already set up and sent out. So there's some really, really great features that this is going to enable for us going forward. One of them being that Monday setup that we just saw earlier, where you can automatically send out proofs directly from monday.com, and it automatically chooses the correct proof template to send that out via. So that is the last feature of the 12 Days of Christmas. And I'm just going to really walk through them quickly again. Number 1, bulk approvals and zoom inside of the inside of the page grid. Number 2, the Mac app and the Windows app. Number 3, Asana, being able to upload the approved file back into your Asana task and Chinese Traditional as a language option. Number 4, the enterprise report for productivity on a reviewer. Number 5, magic access so people don't need to set passwords to switch devices and open proofs. Number 6, brief share link for those using the briefing feature. The share link is now there for them to use. Number 7, it's adding a checklist and checklist settings for a proof that's already in action, and also the autoload between the, changing the autoload between your collection proofs. 8 is webhooks for the IT teams to be able to connect PageProof to some systems that they might use internally. Number 9, PDF comment import coming out of beta, and also that new plugin for Photoshop that runs on Apple Silicon and also on Intel as well. 10, the Combine feature now going to a wider range of file types. So Word documents, PDFs, JPEGs, PNGs, Photoshop files, Illustrator files, all into one proof. So you can use that bulk approval feature to do that. 11, the Monday mega update, automatically creating proofs, the new look, and a lot of more options and configurability for that. And then number 12, proof templates, which enable you to templatize your proof setup. So that is the PageProof Academy, the first one 2024, showing you through the 12 Days of Christmas. And thank you very much for taking the time. The next PageProof Academy will deep dive into that Monday Mega Update. And for those using Monday, you will get a whole look across all of those things that we included. So thank you very much, everyone, for your time and have a great rest of your day. Thank you.
