If I go back 10 years, rewind the clock, and give myself one practical tip for maintaining relationships with a busy career, it's this: never go into the house with your phone on. The goal there is somebody's trying to complete what they're doing, get through their day, and just be home. But what happens is, whether it's your kids, your partner, or even your pet, you're sending the message that they're not the most important thing.
