Paul Klein, founder of Browserbase, explains that Browserbase builds web browsers for AI agents, arguing every AI agent needs a browser because most tasks occur in browsers. He demonstrates (via a referenced GIF) an AI agent analyzing iPhones, and outlines key challenges of running browsers at scale (hard to run on serverless/Lambda, Cloudflare blocking, brittle maintenance when pages change). He positions Browserbase as a product that makes browser usage easy for agents, cites a customer who drastically shortened setup time, mentions growing customer traction and social backing, and ends with a hiring call-to-action.

I'm Paul. I am the founder of Browserbase. We're building web browsers for AI agents. Every AI agent needs a web browser. Here's a video of this web agent called C Act. Its goal here was to analyze iPhones and pick the best one. This GIF isn't working, but if it was working, you would see some LLM code controlling a browser. And that's the future. For the longest time, software has made us faster what we do, but it hasn't done tasks for us. The the future of tasks are being going to be completed by AI agents, and we do all of our tasks in a web browser. So you can kind of see that AI agents have been driving the adoption of web browser libraries. This is this thing called Playwright. Maybe you've heard of it before. It's just been booming because all these people are building AI agent applications and they're using web browsers to power it. But running web browsers is really hard. You can't run them on serverless infrastructure. Try running on a Lambda. I dare you. You get blocked by cloudflare all the time, and when your webpage changes, your code breaks, which is a ton of maintenance work. It totally sucks. I know this because I actually did this at my last company. My whole, like, job as CTO was maintaining our headless Chrome infrastructure stack. We make it really easy for agents to use web browsers. This is one of our customers. He said, I spent the last two months setting up web browsers on clusters, and this made the whole process a couple hours. They love our product. You can kind of see our traction. We're currently inflecting. We're adding a lot of customers week over week, and we're backed by the loudest people on Twitter. So if, if you're interested in joining our team, use a QR code. You got many of those. Tonight, I'll be up here and I'm excited to meet you. Thank you guys.
