Patrick Biddiscombe shows how to run A/B tests in HubSpot to boost conversions. A/B tests split traffic 50/50 between two versions, while multivariate tests let you test up to five variants and HubSpot automatically sends more traffic to the winners.

As you develop your content, you'll want to test it to optimize for conversion and visitor experience. You have two options for this inside of HubSpot. One is an AB test which divides the traffic to the page 50 50, showing one variant to half and the other variant to the other half. You then can choose, based on the analytics you see, which of those variants should become the default page. The other option is a multivariate test where you can have up to five variants of a page, and HubSpot will automatically detect the ones that work best and show those to more and more users until a clear winner is chosen and selected for this page. I've already set up an A B test, so what we're seeing here is the A version. I can click on this to see the B version, where I've added.
