Post any questions or suggestions you have in the comments below. Let's get started with over 2 billion people actively using Facebook every day, it's critical you set up a Facebook page for your business. However, it can get confusing, especially since Facebook's feature features have changed over the years. In this video, we're going to show you exactly how to make a Facebook Page so you can start marketing on the platform today. To begin, navigate to www.facebook.com pagescreation. You have the option to select Business or Brand or Community or Public Figure. For our purposes, we'll click Get Started below Business or Brand. Next, type your Page name and category into the boxes. The category will be a description of your business. For instance, you might type in Marketing Agency, then add your address. If you want Facebook viewers to see your company's physical location, click Continue. Next, you'll be asked to upload a profile picture. This will serve as the main visual icon on your Page, appearing in search results and alongside any comments you publish. While any perfectly square image will work, the recommended size is 180 by 180 pixels. Add your cover photo if you want as well. Now we've created a basic skeleton for your Facebook Page. Next, let's start filling it in. First, click Settings in the top right. Here you'll want to add additional details about your business under Page Info. Additionally, you'll want to customize when and how you'll receive Page alerts under Notifications. Finally, under Page Roles, type your colleagues emails into the box and assign them a role. You can assign them as admin, editor, moderator, advertiser, or analyst, depending on what role you assign them. They'll only be able to make certain changes to your Page. Once you're finished, including all the information you feel is necessary, you're ready to begin populating your Page with content. You might begin by adding a text status, a photo with a caption, a link with a caption, a a video with a caption, an event Page, or a location check in. There's plenty more you can do with your Facebook Page, but that's the gist of how to get one up and running. Looking for even more help with your Facebook strategy?
