If you've been searching for ways to make money on Instagram, chances are you've already heard the classics. Brand deals, affiliate marketing, selling products. We've all seen those tips before, right? But today I'm taking it a step further. I'm going to show you how you can build on those basics and unlock Instagram's full money making potential. By the end of this video, you'll know how to stand out, stay unique and turn Instagram into your best business tool. Whether you've got 500 followers or 50,000, these strategies are going to help you start earning today. Let's dive in. Did you know that you don't need a massive following to succeed anymore? In fact, fewer followers might actually work in your favor if they're the right followers. Smaller targeted audiences can outperform broad content. For example, let's say your niche is new pet tips and tricks. That's going to drive way more engagement and sales than general pet lifestyle content. So. So here's how you can refine your niche. Step one Head to Instagram Insights and look at the age, location and gender of your most engaged followers. Step 2 Find the posts with the most saves, shares and likes. And step three Take a look at your most engaged followers profiles. Are there shared themes or interests? Once you know who your audience is and what they value, you can create content that feels like it's made for them. That's how you build loyalty and ultimately conversions. Want to know a secret? People don't buy products. They buy solutions. They want to know how your offering will change their life. So here's how you can pitch your product to your followers. Using what I have deemed the impact method, I identify the problem. Are your animals constantly asking for food and you can't remember if you fed them or not? M mention your solution. Wouldn't it be nice if someone or someone something could feed your animals for you? P Paint the transformation Imagine waking up in the morning to the sound of silence. Your animals have already been fed and you can even make sure of that using just your phone. A Add social proof. For the past three months I haven't had hungry cats waking me up and I can check to make sure that they did eat. And if there's a food stealer in the house. C Call to action. I've linked this auto feeder that I use in my bio. So go grab that and t tie it back to their goals. And trust me, if you have constantly hungry animals in the house or you're always wondering if they've actually been fed, this Auto feeder will change your life. See how that worked? You're not just selling a product or a service, you're selling a better life. And before we move on, let's quickly address a question I get all the time should you buy followers? We've all seen the ads. Buy 10,000 followers for just $10 sounds like an easy win, right? But here's the truth. Buying followers doesn't work. It doesn't help your engagement, it doesn't help your credibility, and it definitely doesn't help your bank account. In fact, fake followers can hurt your brand reputation, tank your analytics, and even get you flagged by Instagram's algorithm. And you don't want that. If you really want to grow on Instagram, focus on attracting real, engaged followers who actually care about what you offer. And we're going to go over how to find those people coming up really soon. So just stick around. Now let's move on to the fun stuff out of the Box Ways to Make Some Money on Instagram Most people think making money on Instagram is all about brand deals or selling products, but there are so many creative ways to monetize that you've probably never even considered. If you don't have Instagram subscriptions yet, no worries. Here's a great alternative. You can host a private story series like a 10 minute mini masterclass. Let's say you call it New Pet Masterclass. You share actionable tips to help your paying followers find easier ways to balance a life while caring for new pets. Here's how to do it. Start by choosing a niche topic that solves a problem for your audience. Outline your content step by step, keeping it concise but packed with value. Each section should have a solid takeaway for the viewer. Canva is a great tool full of templates for creating polished visuals to help your content look professional and stand out without the need for a graphic designer. Upload the mini class to Stories in short segments and add interactive elements like polls or quizzes to keep it engaging. Now what you're going to do is you're going to make those stories only available to your close friends list. When followers purchase your class, add them to your close friends. To do this, head to your profile, click the three lines, head to close friends and add the followers who have subscribed. This is a really super simple, effective way to monetize your expertise without needing access to subscriptions. Another great strategy Create hyper specific digital products. Think templates, planners or toolkits that solve a specific problem for your audience. For example, we have this Instagram for Business guide that's full of practical strategies to help you grow your audience and monetize your account without shortcuts. I've actually linked it in the description of this video for you to check out, but this is a great example of how you can create a digital product that solves a problem for your audience. So think of a guide that can help your followers. Again, you can design it in Canva and then you want to sell your guide through Instagram Shopping. Now if you don't know much about Instagram shopping, well, that Instagram for Business guide is going to teach you how to set up Instagram Shopping to sell your digital products directly on the platform. So if you are new to this, it's a great free resource to get started. Okay, but how do you actually get people to buy these things? Well, it all comes back to our impact formula. You can use reels and public stories to showcase how your product solves real problems. Then and this is very important, make the purchase journey easy. When you share a story about it, use a link sticker to redirect to Venmo or PayPal or however you'd like to collect payments. When you make a reel, have a call to action to find the purchase link in your bio or your link tree or dm. You also make sure to keep the cost low to start. You can always increase it as your reach grows and you gain more traction. If you've already got a loyal audience, you can definitely do these tactics, but creating a VIP content hub should be your next move. Let's say you're a wellness coach. Offer your VIP subscribers exclusive perks like monthly nutrition templates, live Q and A sessions, or even group coaching. Here's the important part though. Promote it as a community, not just bonus material. Send say join my inner circle or be part of my exclusive growth community. Use Instagram subscriptions if you have access or platforms like Patreon if you don't. Now, before we move on, I would love to know if you're liking this video so far and learning something new. So give this video a thumbs up to let me know. Alright, let's move on to maximizing the tools that Instagram gives you. Instagram isn't just a social platform, it's a business toolkit. Let's talk about how to use this feature strategically to increase your business income. It's important to know that not all Instagram users engage with the same type of content. Some love reels, others prefer stories, and some stick to carousel posts. So why not repurpose one piece of content across all formats. Start with a reel that's quick and eye catching and packed with value like Top three Pet Hacks for new pet owners Keep it snappy and visually appealing to grab attention. Next, break it down with a carousel post. Use clear visuals or slides to expand on each tip step by step. This format works great for followers who prefer to swipe and absorb at their own pace. Finally, take your followers behind the scenes in your stories. Show how you came up with the tips or share a quick example of how they've worked for you. This strategy ensures you're hitting all audience preferences while maximizing visibility. Reels are Instagram's favorite child when it comes to discoverability. If you're not using them, you're missing out. Here's how to make your reels work harder for you if you create a quick, actionable reel like we just talked about. Top three Pet Hacks for New Pet owners Make sure to end it with a strong call to action, telling the audience what you want them to do next. You also want to use Instagram insights to track which reels are getting the most saves and shares. Those are the ones resonating the most with your audience. Stories are perfect for time sensitive offers. Why? Because they disappear after 24 hours, creating a natural urgency. For instance, if you're offering personalized coaching sessions, post something like this story. Highlights are like the greatest hits of your Instagram. They let your followers see your most valuable content first. For instance, if you're a social media coach, you could create highlights for things like client results, tips and tricks, and social media marketing. As you start to create more content on your profile, you can add more to your highlights, creating a wealth of easily accessible resources for your audience to explore. By using Instagram's built in features with intention, you're not just creating content, you're creating opportunities. Making money on Instagram isn't just about what you post, it's about how you grow. Here are some hacks to amplify your efforts. Collaboration is key to expanding your reach. Partner with accounts in similar niches but with different skills. For example, if you're a productivity coach, you could team up with a business accountant and create reels about budgeting tips for solopreneurs. Use the collaboration feature to post your content on both accounts and and reach both followers. This is a win win because you both bring value to your audiences and gain exposure to each other's followers. Reaching out to brands and collaborators takes time, but AI tools can help. Tools like ChatGPT and Google Gemini can draft personalized pitches or captions in seconds. Here's an example prompt you can use I run a and insert your niche account with X amount of followers my audience loves. List their specific traits. Can you draft a warm professional pitch for brand name about collaborating on and then outline the specific content? This saves you time so that you can focus on creativity and strategy. Making money on Instagram isn't just about the quick wins, it's about playing the long game. Focus on building trust. Reply to every comment, DM and tag. When your audience feels seen, they're more likely to stick around and buy from you. Track what's working. Use Instagram Insights weekly to see which posts drive the most engagement and sales and then double down on those strategies. Sustainable growth comes from consistency, connection and a clear strategy. Keep showing up for your audience and they'll show up for you. So there you have it, your roadmap to making your business money on Instagram. Here's a quick recap.
