You ever feel like your Facebook and Instagram ads aren't getting in front of the right people? I mean, until yesterday, I had no idea this amazing local donut shop existed. And then yesterday, an ad that had been circulating for weeks finally reached my feed. Don't let this happen to you. HubSpot and Meta have made it super easy to get your ads in front of the right people. All you have to do is set up our integration for something called the Conversions API. Here's how it works. Right now, when you advertise on Facebook and Instagram, you Meta gives you all kinds of options for targeting. You can choose people based on personal interests, locations, demographics, and whether or not they've bought something from you in the past. All this is great, but imagine what would happen if you could tell Meta what happens after someone sees your ad. Do they click the button? Do they visit your website? Meta could then use that information to help you get more bang for the buck. This is what the Conversions API does. It uses your HubSpot Smart CRM data to to tell Meta which customers visit your website after they see your ad. Meta will then use that information to show your ads to more of the same people. It allows you to spend less money to land more sales. In fact, research shows that advertisers who use the conversions API Average 19% More purchase events and lower their cost per result by 13%. That's huge. If you have a Marketing Hub Pro or Enterprise account, you can set it up right now. You only have to do it once and HubSpot will take care of the rest. Let me show you how to get started right now. First, make sure you've connected your meta ads and HubSpot accounts. You also need to have a Meta Pixel installed in your HubSpot account. If you need help with those steps, just click on the link in the description below and follow the instructions. Right now we're going to go into the HubSpot dashboard and select Create in the upper right. Then click Event. Choose Facebook as the ad network and then select your connected account. Under Event Trigger, select Page View. This is the metric that will tell Meta who visits your website or landing page. Select Add Pixel to choose the meta pixel you want to use, and then click Continue to Facebook. It takes just a couple of clicks to authorize. Once you finish, click Done, then check to make sure the right pixel is selected. Next, you're going to decide what data you'd like to share with Meta Ads. I recommend sharing all data to make the most of the Conversions API. This allows Meta to match your data to the data they already have on each customer. It just makes things a whole lot easier. You also need to confirm how you're managing cookies. This is a required step because Meta only lets you share data from customers who have given you permission. If you use HubSpot landing pages, these come with a banner at the top where visitors can opt in to share their data. If you use that, select the first option, if not, select the second one. This will tell Meta that you're using a different service to manage cookie data, and boom, you're ready to send your page view data to Meta. You can create up to 100 of these events in Marketing Hub Enterprise and at no extra cost, or 50 if you have a Pro account. And it's not just for page views. You can also use the Conversions API to share your HubSpot form submissions and Lifecycle Stage data. This integration is a great way to get really detailed with your Facebook and Instagram ad targeting. It's super easy to set up and you'll start to see the benefits right away. Just click the link in the description below to get started today. I'm Mark from HubSpot. Thanks for watching.
