You're stuck in low elo and you're unable to get LP. Guys, I have 3 tips that are gonna help you get out of where you currently are. It doesn't matter if you're Iron or all the way up to Diamond. These 3 things apply to you immediately, and it's super important to implement them right away. Guys, I'm Perry Norman. I've been Challenger for the last 5 years, and I do educational content, and I'm here to help you get results as well. You're gonna wanna stay until the end of the video because I have a really special tip that's gonna help you learn the game and win more games overall. It's a really unique thing I haven't really mentioned, but I'm gonna mention it in this video. Alright guys, so to begin, tip number 1 is that games last at least 30 minutes no matter what elo you're in, and that means you want to get 3 to 4 items every single game. I'm gonna show you guys the charts of how long games last depending on your elo. Alright, so as you guys can see, this is game duration including surrenders and game duration excluding surrenders. So when you're including surrenders, it's anywhere from like 2 to 3 minutes less than the actual game time excluding surrenders. You are gonna do yourself a favor and never surrender games. Never FF ever. No FFing. Whatsoever. So we're gonna look at the right side here. The game duration in Iron is very, very long. Bronze, Silver, and Gold, guys, if you are below the rank of like Emerald, Diamond, these games last especially long. And what that means for you is if you are in 30-minute games and you're sitting on barely 3 items, barely even 2 items, there is a drastic problem with how you are viewing League of Legends. You need to get items. The games won't end on the second Dragon or the third Dragon or even the fourth Dragon. It goes on much, much, much later in the game. You're going to maybe see two Barons in a game. You're going to see a lot of things happening. So what that means for you is stop chasing random kills, stop chasing random plays, stop looking for random things on the map. We need to play for resources, and what that means is we need to play for gold. So for example, This turret and this turret is worth the most amount of gold on the map other than 1,000, 1,000 gold shutdowns from kills. These turrets themselves give you 675 local gold and they give 25 global gold per person, giving you a total of 800 gold. But this turret itself gets you 2 kills, almost 2.5 kills worth of gold straight into your pocket. These outer turrets right here give you 250 local gold each. Understanding the key values of these turrets helps you decide what decisions you're going to make. Okay, another key thing to understand is, let's say you're only getting an assist. An assist only gives you 150 gold. Let's say there's another person getting an assist, you're actually gonna only get 75 gold because you split the 2 between multiple people. And let's say you you are— there's a third person in the mix, you're gonna split it even further. So you need to make sure that if you're playing for your items, you last hit the kills. Now guys, on average, if you're in a 3-minute game, you should at least have 3 items. You want to have 4 items, maybe even 5. That's, that's the type of things you should be pushing yourself to do. In lower ranks, simply having your items will actually make you win games. I cannot emphasize this tip enough. It will absolutely make you play better. It will absolutely make fights seem so much much easier. Do not lose games. Do not fight and lose games when you do not have your items. You take fights when you have your items. I also really want to emphasize, guys, that this does not mean you AFK farm and you only play for gold and resources and you ignore everyone. All this means is that when in doubt and when you don't know what to be doing, you are playing for your items. Once you have your items, you fight them like there's no tomorrow. So for example, Baron spawns at 25 minutes. Let's say we have 2 items and we want to work on our third item. Let's not fight the Baron until we have our third item, and then once we have our third item, we force the Baron, we force the fight, we force a team fight so we can use our strength to then win and try to progress the game. You want your items. Once you have your items, you fight and you progress. Alright guys, I'm gonna talk about the second biggest tip that I have for you on your journey and your climb. This one is simply one-trick your champion. I'm gonna show you guys the rank 1, 2, 3, and even 4, 5 on the current ladder, and you'll see the same thing in common. Okay, this person has 1,000 games. More than 450 of their games are on one champion. Then it goes down to less than 100. This is the same person. It's Viper. It's the same thing on his rank 1, rank 2 account. It's majority Riven. And then you have rank 3, which is— this is Davemon. Majority of his games, almost double his games, are on Pyke. And then look at his win rate. His win rate win rate is 12% higher on his main champion compared to his champion before that. We look at a champion like DarkWings, who's also a pro player. This player has a bigger spread, a bigger pool, and this is what might throw people off. The reason why people like DarkWings can do this is because back in the day he was a one-trick. Look at this, guys. Mastery right here. Let me make sure that's in the frame. Mastery right here, Katarina, 700,000 points. Back in the day, at some point, this guy one-tricked on Azir or Katarina got to Challenger, is now an LCS player, so then now he can play other champions and he's not gonna hurt himself. But if you are a freaking Bronze, low-ranked player, why would you try to learn all the rest of the champions? Get high rank first, then learn other things. Another final example here is going to be Cupic. Cupic, who's been Challenger for such a long time, as you can see, the Lux mastermind. Lux, Sona, Mithmel, but Lux being the top with so many more mastery points, as you can see over here, and also such, such, such a high win rate on that Lux with majority of the games on the champion. So guys, let's talk. Why is it so important to one trick? Why do I emphasize this so much? One tricking is truly, truly, truly just the hack to getting LP. You pretty much invest your time efficiently because you are sticking to one champion and identity. The easiest way to explain this is let's say you're going to get your college degree. When you're getting your college degree, you do not want to try to major in multiple things. There's a reason why you major in one specific subject. Subject and you get your degree for that. Now, that's not to say you can't minor in something and you can't learn something on the side that has to do with your main subject, but what you don't want to see is someone freaking doing biology and then mathematics and then freaking, you know, all these other things. It's like, hey, I want to do biology and chemistry together. That's fine. As long as you play champions that have similar archetype, one or two, you'll be happy. But what you'll see is you'll see players play thousands of different champions, thousands of different games on different champions, and they're just hurting themselves they're not gonna graduate, they're not gonna get to where they wanna be, their rank goals, and they ultimately just stay stuck lower ranked. Another big reason is we don't have to worry about mechanics. Um, once you have enough champion proficiency, uh, you will be able to start thinking about macro concepts. You won't have to worry about your mechanics, you won't have to worry about your combos, you'll know them naturally, and then you can start learning macro. To add to this, macro is different depending on your champion. For example, let's say you're comparing a champion like Evelynn, Lillia, Hecarim. All of them play differently. You can also add a champion like Kayn. You can add a champion like Diana, or you can look— think about champions that hard gank like Rek'Sai, like Lee Sin, like Nidalee. They all play very differently. What they want is different. So if you are playing these— all these different champions and you're expecting to learn the correct concept, you are actually never going to learn the right things because every champion has a different way of playing the game. Absolutely, absolutely do yourself a favor. Play 1, 2, 1 or 2 champions, 3 max. If you want your LP, you listen to me and you'll do that. If you don't care about your LP, you don't care about winning, don't care about improving, play whatever. It's not video— this video is not for you anyway, man. Alright guys, and the last and final tip here is going to be to play with chat off. I cannot stress this enough. Go into your settings right now, go to the interface, Scroll down, you're going to find change chat visibility. Click that and put premade only on. Do yourself that favor. I do not care what excuse you have, what reason you have to have chat on. Everything can be problem solved with pings or playing the game better. That's all it is, pings and playing the game better. If you're like, oh, I need to type to try to communicate to my teammates, you are investing time, energy, and effort into typing, go play Type Racer, go play something else. You're playing League of Legends, use the feature that League of Legends has, which is pinging, so you can make things efficient, make things fast. I do not care if it's like, oh, I don't get tilted from when players type things to me. Well, I don't want you to be looking at chat at all because it's gonna throw your focus off of the game and towards the chat. Even if, let's say, you feel zero emotions because you're an actual robot, let's say for example, I still do not want you to spend any effort or energy reading chat. That's brain power you should be using looking at the tab screen. You should be using that looking at the wave states, looking at who's strong, who's weak. That should be you deciding what's the next plan. I don't care what excuse you have. Please do yourself and turn chat off. Guys, the easiest thing to do for right now to give yourself the best competitive edge is to turn chat off. I really hope you guys do this and listen so you can get yourself some more LP and make make your life so much easier. Things will be way, way, way less stressful. All right, if you made it this far into the video, good for you. I'm happy you want to learn. I'm going to talk to you guys about what the last little tip that I have, something you can experiment with. There's a reason behind it. Pretty much when you join any game, I actually do recommend you /muteall and have no chats, no pings, no form of communication with your teammates at all. What this does for you is it forces you to think for yourself and it makes it so that every decision you make is your own. You will never, ever, ever get persuaded by your teammates to make a play, and you need to find the information around the map yourself. You will not be able to rely on your teammates to ping summoner spells for you, to ping when they need help. You are fully centered on yourself. It is the best way to learn, the fastest way to learn, and at the same time, it's going to teach you the right skills, the right concepts for you to play the game yourself. The only catch is it might feel weird early on. It might feel very lonely and isolating. But again, I'm giving you guys the tips and the ways to put yourself in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber before the season ends so you can get some LP. Alright guys, I hope these tips can come in ta— Alright guys, I hope these tips can come in handy and help you get some LP. I really, really, really want you guys to push yourself before the season ends to get to your ranked goals. If this video was helpful, please make sure to leave a like, comment, and subscribe.
