Common MISCONCEPTION About CHALL Players ❌ | perryjg on twitch

A challenger-level player breaks down why top players make better decisions. It's not about reaction speed, but pattern recognition and preset rules they've learned to follow instantly.
With decision making. There's pretty much a common misconception that people have with how challenger players are so good. Challenger player has the best decision making by far because of the best. Everyone believes that the child player has really good decision making because they're fast. But this is wrong. It is not speed. It is pattern recognition and repetition. Okay, so they've created rules. They've applied for years of their lives in the game, or years of, like many of their games, and they've seen what works, they've seen the trends, and at some point, they engrave that rule of understanding of the game into their gameplay. So, for example, if I get invaded as a challenger player, I know my options. I have like two or three options. I could leave, I can stall, I can fight. The average player sees these three options, and they're like, huh, do I want to fight here? Do I want to stall here? Do I want to leave here? And they start freaking out, and they're trying to gather all the information in the moment. The challenger player doesn't need to do that because they already have it preset. So challenger decision making comes from having predetermined answers to the game.
