How I Dropped A 35 Kill NUKE On Viego In MASTERS ELO - Challenger Viego Gameplay

Perry Norman plays Viego in Masters and gets 35 kills with 68k damage using a full-crit Hail of Blades build that hits 100% crit at four items by skipping Kraken Slayer. He narrates how resets and high attack speed let him one-shot squishy targets while his team applies pressure elsewhere.

Hey guys, it's Perry Norman. I just played the craziest game I've ever probably played in my entire League career. We had an inting mid laner, an inting bot laner, and somehow I managed to end the game with 35 kills in a Masters lobby. This is literally the first time I've ever hit that kill number in ranked, and it was truly only possible because of Hail of Blades full crit Collector Viego. This build is extremely powerful. You get 100% crit chance on your fourth item. You're one-shotting people. You'll see me do some of these stuns. Disturbing things this game on Viego. All right guys, enjoy the video. So because they have Graves and Zed, they can one-shot us. I kind of want this so I don't get one— absolutely one-shot by them. What's the Hail of Blades build? We're going to go Collector first item. Let's jump back into some more full lethality crit Viego. We're going to go Collector, Hail of Blades, straight into Shieldbow, Slash LDR. This game is definitely shieldbow and then Infinity Edge. We're going for 100% crit at 4 items, so skipping the Kraken. The big reason for this is if we have enough crits or fast enough crits with the Hail of Blades, we'll be able to hit him really quickly, just bang bang bang, and then we'll be able to go ahead and get ourselves free resets in fights. The big thing is your E also provides a good amount of attack speed. And then the Hail of Blades just ensures that you're going to get at least a few autos off in your fights. Okay, so let's look at bot lane here. We have a Draven and a Nautilus. We should be winning. When you have Draven, Nautilus, we're playing for one thing and one thing only. We want to end this game cleanly, and that means we are playing through Dragons. One thing with Draven not is like— one thing with Draven in general is like he is strong, but he kind of gets outscaled, and they have, they have super smolder. So with Super Smolder, we have to really be disciplined and not get ourselves killed in the mid-late game. So let's not overchase kills. Let's focus on the objective at hand, which is going to be literally, quite literally, the objectives. So let's not overdo anything. Okay, bot lane looks to be pretty even actually, not very favored for us. We have the wave. Mid is favored for us. That's very good. Okay, bot lane looks pretty like pretty advantageous in the, in the wave states, but that also scares me because enemy Graves can go ahead and gank bot lane. So it's ping one time here because Graves hasn't shown up just yet. I'm gonna assume Graves is on his camps. What I want to do is I'll finish this blue buff, and then I want to go ahead and I want to drop a ward in the bot lane. My mid lane got a solo kill himself, that's really huge. And now let's go ahead and let's walk towards the bot side and let's ensure that the enemy Graves is not able to go ahead and kill my bot lane here. Let's drop a nice early ward. Let's danger. Oh, let's look at the— let's look at this here. Let's push him away. Okay, we can't really go for both crabs, but what we can do is because the Graves for sure has to leave this position, We can go ahead and play around our Nautilus. I fucked up here. I took an extra shot. I honestly, my Nautilus engaged at such a weird time that like I just felt like I had to follow up, follow it up, or we're like giga cooked. And like we are giga giga cooked now because I chose to follow up like a dogshit, a dogshit little engage from my Nautilus. Uh-oh, Spaghetti-O. Okay, this is very, very, very awesome. Singed is just looking at us. Hello, that's double sums. That's pretty good for us. Maybe my guy can solo kill. I have to be careful of Graves though, so I'm not gonna path that way. If Graves is in this bush, G freaking G. We have a winning lane on the mid side already, so let's play through our mid laner as much as we can. I'm sorry to my Hwei, but like, you might be freaking dead here. Dead as fuck. Now the Zed is probably gonna go try to kill this guy. He does get the kill. This dragon is pretty hard. Okay, Graves is on the dragon. Graves is just clearing down naturally. He dropped one of his camps to make that play. My bot lane is giga, giga, giga behind, so we just don't want to play around them at all. I know we mentioned earlier we have the fed Draven, so we don't have shit. It's Nautilus. Hope you don't— hopefully you're not AFK. You're not. Good. Um, but yeah, this, this bot lane is not the bot lane to play through. There is a slight window of opportunity here. Their bot lane is going to have to recall because their conditions are so bad, which gives us the opportunity to play for this Drake, which is what I want to play for. That means this Graves is going to go for the top crab. My mid laner is fighting hard on this timer. I don't like it at all. I'm on the dragon already. Now we don't really have anyone to win through, uh, because the Nautilus already showed bot lane. This might be giga depressing in a, in a world where the Anivia runs top and the Nautilus is bot lane. We don't dive their bot lane and the Anivia and the Graves invade my entire top side and I'm giga depressed. Let's see if that happens here. Okay, Anivia's bot lane good. Now we can actually go ahead and at least investigate our camps. Can I drop a ward there? Make sure the Graves is not invading us. A lot of you guys want to FF this game, and I get it. I feel strongly that this game is going to be hard to win, but you never know what could happen in any League of Legends game. The thing is, my champion is really good at dealing with stupid shit. We also got a nice little kill, and like, it's not like Draven and Nautilus are going to be useless. They are pretty strong champions overall. Okay, we do have this Singed here. Beautiful. We get the Singed. Our, our Nautilus got the shutdown in the bot side. Their Graves is not a fan of invading, okay? I— you guys can see this, the Graves is just not a fan of invading. We're gonna have our Collector in a sec. I'm sorry, bro, you're just going to die. Need to play a little bit safer. Let's look to recall, grab our completed item. And then our bot lane has level 6, so we have our ulti to play through. Let's look at the bot wave. The bot wave is coming back into us. Let's finish our camps. We can recall for our item, but we can also go ahead and look for a, uh, a bot fight. Let's go ahead and mute this Hwei. He's definitely very mad right now. Let's go here. We get double kill here because the Graves wants to get himself killed. That's great, that's wonderful. Let's look at the mid conditions here. Because my Hwei is already on reset, I should just take my reset as well. I could try to fight this Zed, but he has a full Voltayk, so let's just leave that there. Let's go ahead and buy a pickaxe and let's run towards the top side and maybe pressure the Singed. Although Singed is probably not very pressurable, I will be honest. My fracture, please. Because I have Collector. I should be able to kill him here just like that. Oh shit, that guy's there. I didn't expect that one. I wondered why the Singed was playing in such a way, but that's because the, the Zed, I guess, was just right behind his ass. We have an early Drake, so we have an early way to play the game or early scalability, I should say. Like, we're going to have an opportunity to get into this game and progress, uh, without them getting the soul. But I do need to be a bit careful here because I, I mean, they have a fed, a fed, fed, fed Zed. Their Zed can just one-shot me in any of these fights. Their Smolder's scaling nicely too, which is pretty unfortunate. But like, those are— that's a situation that like I can't really control or do much about. Let's see if Graves is overextending on my Raptor camp here. Now this guy just like hates invading. It's, it's actually crazy to me. This guy does not want to invade. I've never seen a Graves more against invading than this guy. Nice kill for our bot lane. To be a little bit careful here. So that was this guy's flash and that guy's flash. I got a shutdown, it was a 2 for 1, but we got 2 crucial flashes from that fight. In a game like this, I get my full clear off, I'm trading kills, I'm happy because now we also got their flashes, which is going to help in the next fight. So Graves flash and Zed has no flash. That's going to seriously help us win the next fight. Okay, let's go for the mid lane here. This Zed has no flash. If Zed recalls in an awkward spot, we could get him. He's recalling too safely. Beautiful. We'll take this free kill. Cool, we have our pets. We are pretty strong ourselves, uh, but again, their mid laner is just so fucking strong. Our bot lane is able to trade kills continuously, which is a good sign. That means we can, we can still work with our bot side. They're, they're going for like 1-for-1s, maybe like a— this is a 1-0, so there's ways to play with my bot lane. Again, we have an early Drake, so that means we have time to scale. Again, this guy has no flash. Okay, it doesn't look like I can do much more there. We have our shieldbow. Let's go grab our item after our camps. And like, again, there's Zed had no flash there, which really just made that, that play so much easier. So you guys can see how like plays from before are making me able to get small picks here and there. Like, oh, I died 1 for 2 earlier, or, or sorry, yeah, 1 for 2 earlier. I got the Anivia kill, but in order for them to kill me, they had to use their flashes. That's going to help us in the next fight. So right now they're not buying much armor. Let's go ahead and buy that Shieldbow and buy the frickin Infinity Edge. This is going to make us deal so much damage. Our Ornn keeps generating us very free kills. Let's go ahead and see how we can work around Ornn again. And have him generate more kills for us. And that's the Hail of Blades right there, guys. If you saw the damage there, he just got popped. You're not doing that with Kraken. You're not doing that with a different build. You're doing that with frickin' Hail of Blades Viego. And you can imagine once I have my full item, my Infinity Edge, I'm literally going to be one-tapping people. We're very close to IE. And here's the thing, guys, Viego— or League of Legends in general, like, different games call for different builds. So this game they have 4, 5 squishy champions. It's really nice to go full damage. Hail of Blades is the full damage build. Okay, so my bot lane had to use flash there. That's fine. Let's look at items. Their mid laner is still the strongest. Bot lane's pretty even. The guy went for the Herald. Which I sort of saw him path for that. But like, you can never be too sure. I didn't want to waste too much time contesting a Herald I didn't even want to play for. Let's play with our Nautilus here. Okay, nice try. My Nautilus messes up his own combo there, which is pretty depressing. A 1 for 1 in the mid lane. I have shieldbow, don't forget, okay? And there's the Hail of Blades, by the way. The guy just literally got like exploded. That guy's exploded too. This is before my IE. If you get that one crit before your IE, you're literally one-shotting people. If— and when you have 100% crit, there is no chance for you to be weak. You guarantee will freaking kill anyone. Anyone you drool on will die. So let's go get that item. And now the game is, you know, it's still hard. I'm not gonna lie. The game is still hard. It's nowhere near won. But now the game is like definitely, it's in our court. Let's buy a crit cloak and a cloth armor for tier 2 boots. Oh shit. Okay, this one got upgraded. I guess that's fine. Damn, I got upgraded already. I wasn't even prepared, yo. I don't know. I guess that's free AD for me. That makes me pretty strong. Yo, so this Singed looks like he's going to walk up here again. So Graves, let me just kill Singed first actually. Fuck, I thought I could kill him. Nice kill. We're trading camps, me and the enemy Graves. Okay, anyone who comes up here will get one-shot by me. So if you wanna come, you're going to die. Honestly, who will come? Maybe the Ornn, or maybe the Anivia? There's the damage right there, guys. You see it. You see it now. You understand it. That guy got blown to bits. I wonder, can I one-shot— can I solo this? Oh, I can't solo it. If Ornn's with me, it's, it's actually just dead though. So when Ornn TPs back and he comes, he's dead. My ult What happened to my ult? Oh shit, I just lost it. That's not good. This guy's in a bad position. Beautiful. Solo carrying this game with 3 losing lanes. It's possible, guys. You just need to play damn well. No, I just lost my shield buff! Oh, that's so bad. Oh, that's so bad. It's fine, we're going to win the Baron at least. Okay, that's this guy's flash. Now I can't 1v1 the Zed though, because I have no shieldbow. Zed can actually kill me. I don't want to give him my 1k shutdown. Let's recall here. Let's go towards the bot side. Let's get one. Oh my God, see, I told you I could have fought him there, but I didn't have my 100— well, I didn't have my shieldbow. Like, that guy is face checking me, W'ing into a bush like that. Uh-uh, bro. Uh-uh. Okay, we're 100% crit, so we're really close to Death's Dance. We can also buy Guardian's Angel. My teammates are off the map. Now's the time to farm, and when they're back on the map, when they're ready, we just go fight. There's no sitting about. This guy's stupid. He's not really watching the teammates' tempo. Now the Zed is probably gonna go for the turret, so we can definitely kill him here. Fuck, bro. Fuck, I need to run. I have Shield Bow, but I need to run. Essentially just fake them out here. Go up but go down. Go up but I'm truly down. Hello! Okay, doesn't look like there's much else happening here. Ornn is trying to pressure bot turret again. Let's clear this ward. This is good. We almost have Death's Dance. Not almost, I mean kind of. Let's stick around our team here. That's the full one-shot combo with my champ. Save resets so you can reuse them, and they don't expect that. Nobody expects you to reuse a reset, but you have to be willing to reuse resets when, when need be. I don't think we can end the game with this amount of HP across our team. Teammates. I want the cannon, not that it necessarily matters, but if let's say I want a GA over the boots, I could do that if I get that gold. Just trying to min-max my gold here, even though it's like, oh, I'm, I'm capped out. It's like, you can sell boots and get you some more stats. I will buy a Death Dance here, bro. Look at that! Like, what are you supposed to do against that? What was he supposed to do there? Fuck, Smolder Flash there, bro. That's not fair. Uh-oh, that's not good. Uh-oh, that's not good. All right, this is what I mean though. We wanted to sell this item so we can buy— like, sell our boots, buy this. Like, 200 armor, 525 AD. Let's put in some work now. Oh my God. You missed everything. Okay, let's try to go for the Baron here. Their Smolder is pretty strong. I lost my flash, but Smolder has no flash either right now. I don't have smite. Yo, Ornn is lowkey— Ornn was lowkey killing that guy himself. I have GA here. I have shieldbow as well. I can eco a little bit. Okay, nice kill. I don't have flash here though. I have nothing to buy. I have HP I can regen, but like, I can just heal from the camps. I'm going to sit here the entire time. And if anybody comes up to check the top side, I'll be able to jump them. Just like that, guys. Holy shit! 35 bomb? Holy fuck. Yo, my team has 48 kills. I have 35 of them. That is ludicrous. That is 35 kills right there on Viego. This Hwei, by the way, is probably typing and pinging the whole game. You guys saw him ping me earlier. Like, holy shit, that carry was fucking fire. Hope you guys enjoyed that freaking 35 kill game. Dude, I haven't had a game like that in a hot minute. I hope that shows you guys how powerful the Halo Blades build is as well, but my God, that was crazy. 68k damage. Oh, fuck, I shouldn't have killed the last two guys. It would have been 67.
