I Tried @KireiLoL 's NEW Graves Build... It Is RIDICULOUS!

Hey guys, it's Perry Norman. Today we're testing the new Graves build that Kirei put out there. It's really interesting stuff. We have a good old Umbral Hubris into Sundered Sky, Black Cleaver, or Jack-Show. Uh, I think that's like the full build path. So we're going for a good old like lethality item into Sundered Sky into a good like Black Cleaver, or I'm guessing tankiness with Jack-Show. Probably like all 4 of those items together would be huge. I'm I'm not sure how good this build will be. I'm gonna rate it as we play live in this game and really show you guys, is this build as good as Kirei is saying? Is this build good enough, or is it dogshit? Also really important to understand that you're supposed to go green pets and you want Omnivamp boots, and your last item looks to be a Bloodthirster. Full credit to Kirei for making a video on this, and, uh, go check him out for sure. He does great jungle content as well. Anyway, the main concept for this build, from what I'm hearing, is you need to keep your E stacks up. So right now, look at my E. I have 42 armor and I have 21 bonus MR. And it also feels so broken because you get more damage on your pets as well. So it's not only just like, oh, you, you, you you know, you're good for the fights. But you also get to clear faster. So look at my pet hit. 53 of pet hits. 'Cause I have a bonus 56 armor and MR. And my chat's telling me I'm supposed to go 2 points Q, or maybe 3, and then max E afterwards. So the bonus you get from E is bigger. That part— I mean, I guess. Like, goes from 7, 10, 13, 16, like— I guess, but it feels so dumb, right? Because your Q is where your damage is from. But like, look, I'm gonna trust my chat here this time around. If you guys want me to try other builds that you have theorycrafted that has proof, proof that it's working, show me. Maybe I'll test it out and I'll try it. We're gonna do, um, well, I'll say 30 points Q and then E max afterwards. Okay, we're gonna go 3 points Q, E max after. Now what I want to do here is to keep my stacks for this crab. I'm gonna kill this blue buff towards the last minute here to keep my stacks. Keep my stacks. Bang. And then now if the enemy jungler comes to fight me, I do have all my stacks and I'm really happy to fight him. I'm gonna push this crab down by a bit. I want this guy to jump in pretty badly. Okay. He jumped in and he did no damage to me. Keep that in mind. Oh, I mean, they should get squad wiped here. I think they have no flashes at all, so we should be able to kill— oh, it's only 1 for 1. Wait, what? Okay, I mean, I think I misplayed that personally. I also did not get my crab, but you guys can sort of see how the Kha'Zix jumped on me. They used like everything and they weren't able to, to do too much to me. I think I just misplayed, like, that's just like a on me type of thing. I, I just— nothing to do with anything other than me misplaying, but it's all good. Let's go ahead and just continue with our full clear. I think my Smokescreen is also a little off as well. I also E'd early to maintain my stacks and I didn't smite the crab. So why did I not smite the crab there? I was trying to keep the Kha'Zix interested and bait him in to come because my teammates were pinging, they're coming, they're coming, they're coming. So I kind of got baited by my team just a tad bit there. Baited— I baited a little too hard and It's all good. My, my Tristana ends up getting a kill on the bot side, so everything is good. The Lucian used Flash to kill me, right? So it's good because Lucian has no stuns now, so my bot lane should have a good time destroying the enemy bots. Let's make sure, save our E on the cross here, and then we go, we use it. Beautiful. And like I mentioned, guys, we got the enemy bot stuns cuz they, they went— they thirsted to kill me in a 1 for 1 trade, and now my bot lane gets to stomp their bot lane. So we technically still went out from the sequence. I'm pretty happy with all that. So in this position, what we can do, depending on how mid and bot look and depending on how that Raptors looks— yeah, mid's getting good trades. Keep my crit stacks here. Now I'm going to play aggressively on this camp. And again, the advantage we have here is our stats. We have 100 armor. Just look at that, 100 fucking armor. I think the great— the, the Kha'Zix tried diving the top laner, so he is fucked. Now my bot lane's going to have prio. My mid laner already has complete prio. I have level— again, I have 103 armor. I'm going to make sure to try to remember to put points into my E now. 3 points Q, and then I'm going to max my E. I still have my grit stacks. Oh wait, what? How is my— bro, how is my like Tristana Yuumi letting this Lucian— okay, every single time, I swear, I swear this Trist Yuumi just lets the Lucian walk through because I beat Kha'Zix there. I'm level 6, I should beat the Kha'Zix there. I don't like the way my Tristana and Yuumi are playing, so I'm gonna try to leave them be and just let them do their thing because I'm I'm not, I'm not playing too, I'm not playing too well around them. Yep, we get back into the game so we can really see the build in action. So I don't like what's happening so far. I feel like I'm pretty, um, I haven't been able to showcase the build too much because I'm just fucking dying. But no, either way, like, we get to really see then, is this build good when we're behind especially? I feel like that's a really good question. It's like, how strong is this when we're not hard snowballing? And I feel like if you're hard snowballing anything can work. You could be buying the stupidest shit ever and it'll fucking work. So it's even better, I think, that we're not just shit stomping them entirely. Put a point to our E here. And then we go up 20 armor from that one thing, which is— that is kind of crazy. I mean, the extra damage from your pet, it feels good. Everything feels really good right now. This guy's getting jumped. He's dead as fuck, but the enemy Kha'Zix has no ulti. Kha'Zix flashed. I want to keep my crit stacks, that's a priority. Okay, it's fine. They're pretty full HP. I'm trying to keep my grit stacks. This guy's just disrespecting. Lucian is not coming, so I can just do this. I mean, the Kha'Zix had no flash, no ulti from the mid play, so we're just going to go ahead and kill this guy. Like, it's completely fine. And again, like, I'm just making a, a big priority to keep my grit stacks. Unfortunately, I put more points into my Q just on autopilot. It's all good though. Okay. This guy should be able to get the skill here. I'm gonna farm a bit of that, put another point into my E. I mean, I think Graves in general feels quite strong from all the damage. Feels really good. But I think the next big item here is going to be our Sundered Sky. We will go for a boots early. I think, um, if you ever go the Omnivamp boots, you kind of have to take it early so you can get it stacked going. And then the Hubris, obviously nice. We're gonna be able to like, um, snowball with the Hubris. Um, you could also go Umbral. I like the Hubris though because I want to snowball on scale. And it's just like a personal preference, I think. I think Umbral has its value, has its plays, but I want to snowball, so I'm doing this. I think the Kha'Zix might be here. Hello. What up, bro? Now we're still fighting the top side. I don't need to keep my E stacks here. I think I should be able to take the K'Sante. That's a bad E, but it's fine. Should be okay. Dodge that there. Just auto attack this guy to death. I can't hit through the minions. Terrific. Yo, this champ is just— nah, that champ is not okay, bro. That champ is not okay. But it's fine, everything's okay. Nah, like, does that champ get bonus regen or something? I don't know what this guy's doing. Look at all my stats that I have. Holy shit, holy shit. I don't think that guy expected me to have an extra 40 fucking 8 MR and shit, because like, what the fuck was my tankiness there? Let's just go for the Tunneler. Like, let's just go for more tankiness. Okay, okay, I'm starting to see it. I'm starting to see it. Like, the chat, you guys are cooking, because my E, it gives me so much armor and MR. No, it's crazy. It's actually crazy. Lowkey, fuck the Q. Fuck the Q. Fuck the Q. One point Q, guys. Put points into my E. Look at the damage that I'm doing to a camp per thing. 119. Now look at it, 124. It's just ramping up. It's just ramping up. Nah, this shit's crazy. You can do an extra 40 damage per thing. Bro, I'm fighting this shit. I don't care. I'm strong as fuck. I'm strong as fuck. I don't care. I have a bigger smite than this guy too. What up guys? I have 8,000 stacks. All right, I'm going to lose the stacks, but it's fine. I'm still tanky as fuck though in general. 1 HP, 1 HP. No damage build can't play like that. No damage build can't play like that. Fuck. It's all good though, we had the Grubs, we got the turrets. All right, noted, noted, noted, noted, noted, noted. This is not your typical Graves build, right? You're good at sustained fights, fighting in the jungle, invading camps. In the team fight, you need to walk in with 8 stacks. You're not really good at closing the kills. Very interesting stuff. It's like, it's a very different play style to what I'm sure a lot of you guys are used to. It's not weak, it's just different. Make sure you understand the difference. It's not weak, it's just different. Fuck. So Graves' favorite spot now— well, it's always really been, but it's in the jungle. Who's the king of the jungle, guys? Wow, they're getting shit on. They're getting completely shit on. Kha'Zix did find my top camps though. Good, good for you, bro. He did find my top camps. That's why clearing your own camps is so important, because when you make good plays like what I'm doing right now, if they have camps to invade you back on, it's pretty cooked. It's pretty sad. Well, I really like this build though, guys. I'm really digging it. I know this game was like not as close as it— as I wish it were. So I'm probably gonna play another one after this and show you guys two of these— two games of this build. And I'm going to try to go 2 points Q and then put all my points into my E because this shit's— this shit's fun. Like it's actually a kind of new discovery to the champion. That's pretty strong, I would argue. I've always, I've always been a hater of this, but I've fallen in love. One of my chatters was like, bro, Perry's gonna fall in love with this shit. All right, you're right, you caught me, bro. And I think the cool part about this is Graves fundamentally loves to invade camps and loves to fight in the enemy jungle. But with changes from lethality, damage, and invading in general, it was a lot harder for him to invade. But now with this Tech, you want to invade more and you're allowed to invade more. So I'm gonna jump into one more game, guys, and let's really see. Hopefully this is a more challenging game. Let's jump in. All right guys, let's jump into another Graves game here. So this game they have a Sylas, Nocturne, Ahri in the top side. Pretty strong top side, I'll be honest. But we also have a really strong top side ourselves with the Graves, Yasuo, Galio. I think both comps are actually pretty evenly balanced all around. They have like strong bot side, good jungler. We have strong bot side, top laner, and good jungler. So it's like, like all the champions are pretty normal this game. I think the only thing to consider is how much value Black Cleaver gives us as our third item because we have an AP mid, AP support, and AP ADC. So Black Cleaver is going to find less value because we're shredding their armor. Uh, it's nice because you have HP and haste from the Black Cleaver. Uh, but I am considering not taking the, the Black Cleaver this game because they just have— we have no, we have no armor, we have no AD damage. So I just— that's just how I feel. Uh, but we'll see by the time we get there. I think the real thing to consider is like, what if we don't even go an armor pen item and just go for Jack Show? Like, that's also playable. I have to think about both things. What we're going to do again, guys, remember 2 points Q and then the rest of the points on E. I have to remember. I will not forget. I forget these things so freaking easily. It's so easy to forget. Let's not forget. We're going to clear our Raptor camp. What I want to do here is I'm not trying to do the red buff. I'm trying to go to my Krugs. And the reason for this is I want to finish with my red buff and then E over the wall. And that's how you maintain your stacks on both sides, right? So you saw how I did it the other game. With sitting on my blue buff, waiting there, S-keyed. This one is pretty straightforward too. It's come here, bring this over, and by the time the crab is up, use your E over the wall and we will have our stacks and then we'll be able to play for this crab pretty easily. Okay, let's try to finish this a little faster. Okay, I have my stacks here. Auto smite that again. I am strong as fuck. Fuck, I have to kind of— I kind of have to play the fight here. That's it, that guy's flashed. My, my mid laner, sort of like, my mid laner hard lost, which is really sad. And then my Nautilus pussied out. Like, like, I don't think people understand how strong I was there, but honestly we could probably have won that because my Galio stalled the, the Ahri. But my fucking Nautilus pussy. But it's fine, we still won his blue buff. I'm not too unhappy with that. My top laner died 1v1. It's all good, it's all good, guys. Um, we're gonna clear top down. I'm kind of worried that the Nautilus like doesn't have trust in me or doesn't want to make plays with me because the guy literally just pussyed out so hard that last fight. Uh, so I just have doubt that this guy wants to, wants to play aggressively. It's all good. We want to play for a fight into the bot side. Here's the thing, guys, if we grab all of our camps plus this crab, what's going to happen is we're going to get our leveled up smites And then we can maybe play for this dragon. Volibear's losing too hard though. We got Aphelios flash earlier. Maybe that guy doesn't kill you all. Nice. Okay, we want this crab. We want to make sure that we get the crab, not them. What the fuck was that combo? We got those guys flash at least. Okay, holy shit, did you guys just see my Galio combo there? Flash W in place, flash W in place. No, I put a point in my Q, E, E, E. Oh, I fucked up, guys. It's all good, it's all good. Just, just constantly remind me on my level 7 to put more points into my E. It's okay, it's okay. It's not ideal because again, look at my E. We go from 7 to 10, 13, 16, and then 19. But it is what it is. Like, it's gonna take some time to get rid of this bad fucking habit. It's so easy to fall into the habit of putting points into your Q. I did want to play for this though, quite badly. So I want to like ping to my bot lane to come. I have bigger smite than this Nocturne. I have bigger smite than him, but like, the reality of it is I need this guy to tank for me. Okay, we have it here. Nice. They don't know my HP bar exactly, so we can play for this. Let's recall here, go to the top side, and we want to build into this Hubris. So my top laner is 0/3. Yeah, so your E also reduces the cooldown by 1 per second, which is really nice. So we do want to put more points into that. What if you guys— what if, guys, what if you do E max on Graves? No points into your Q. Is your clear just too weak? Your damage is too low, baby. Well, that skin is crazy. If it's top lane, it's good. If Nocturne's ulting top, it's really good because top lane is our weakest link in this game. I want to smite this to maintain my stacks. I missed my Q there. Fuck, fuck, bro. This Galio just does not know how to play the game with me at all. I'll be so for real, this Galio and I are like not on the same page whatsoever. I mean, okay, I think this Galio is just playing bad as well. He should wait. He doesn't need to ult that early. I don't need your help like immediately. Come on, bro. I normally hate going for these Void Grubs, but because we saw the Nocturne in the top side, we pushed him out. I don't hate it. I, I don't mind it necessarily. I'll drop a ward here just in case the guy tries to invade me. I doubt it. He doesn't seem like he's playing too aggressively this game. Okay, super cute. Cut, cut, scrap it, scrap the video. No, it's fine, it's fine. Um, I honestly, honestly, honestly, with a game like this, more points into my Q. Maybe we can just throw this in as like an extra, extra game because like, fuck, man, fuck. I want to really show you guys the, the points into my E, but I just completely fucked it up this game. I just completely fucked it up. My brain is so autopilot. Points into Q, points into Q, points into Q. Fuck. Uh, we're still going to try to win this game and showcase the build, but I think I owe you guys a third game. So I actually do think pointing to your E is stronger than pointing to your Q. Like, it's not even— I'm not even LARPing about it, is the thing. Okay, can probably kill this guy. Huge. Okay, so my bot lane died. We'll keep putting points to E here, that's fine. Nocturne has item, I have my item too, I feel good. Sylas used flash. I'm looking at this guy mid here. We're gonna go for the Raptors and the Krugs, and then we're gonna go for this Dragon, probably maintain our stacks from the Krugs. I think that's the best thing for me to do. We need to maintain the stacks. Wait, how do I maintain my stacks though, guys? Oh, there's, there's a, there's a cone. I found my answer. I have bigger smite than him. All right, Sundered Sky here, but we want to get ourselves this item first. Let's go for the Tunneler. And again, we don't do that much damage, have to remember this. But it's good, we have 2 dragons, we feel good. I feel strong. What I'm going to do is I'm going to do the wolves first, then the Gromp, even though it kind of desyncs my camps because I want to play for this top crab. And I think this is the ideal pathing. Fuck, bro, where is my fucking Yasuo? Wait, where the fuck is my Yasuo, bro? I think it's my fault though. Like, why am I fighting with my Yasuo of all people? My Singed is my one winning lane. I'm just gonna mute this Yasuo and like, and just like never interact with him again. Like, I'm not gonna do anything on the top side. Fuck the top crab, fuck everything. You guys see how strong I am in 1v1 in isolation, but my top laner is just so fucking trash. He's just inting the game, so I have to, I have to like, not play like that. Oh god. Okay, so now the question is, if they're not buying any armor, should we go more damage? I would have to say so, yes. We have a Nautilus, Galio going tank, and it's like, okay, so we actually do need damage then. And if not, if Galio was going AP, I probably would go Jack Show here. And be like tanky with him, but because he's going damage or, or he's going tank, I'm, I'm doing this build then. You play with a turret at least, I guess. Okay, are we winning up there, team? I'm 2v1ing people right now. I have so much armor. Hahaha, wait, that's crazy. I have so much armor there. Oh my God, that felt sick, that felt sick. We finally felt the build being like good, good there. That was good. I think we're gonna go for a Mortal Reminder at this point because they have Sylas healing. But that's where things felt actually pretty nice. There's so much armor. Look at how much armor we have in these fights. Again, I want to show you guys, we have an extra 76 armor just for fun, just because why not. 95 armor. Like, usually we're probably getting to like 4 to 5 stacks in these fights. Like, the more the merrier, but like even 4 stacks is so much armor. Okay, wait for Nautilus to come face check for us. There's so much damage there. Galio ults. Fuck. 1 HP here. Nice, Syndra. Oh my God, oh my God, oh my God, I have so much armor! Look at my stats right now, armor and MR. Holy fuck, the Sundered Sky healing too is crazy. I'm going to recall and get my item. Oh fuck, that— this is a good game, guys, this is a good game. I feel it. Let's go for the Raptors, try to get stacks, and then get more stacks. Stack, stack, stack, stack, stack. I think it's because I think one recently, a few patches ago, they buffed Graves armor that he gets, armor and MR that he gets from stats or from, from his E. They buffed it if I recall. We got— we should go play with the Syndra. Syndra has 3 items. Or like lowkey, what if we keep our stacks here? If we generate stacks from this, I don't hate it. I don't hate it. Generate stacks and then fight. And instead of sticking on the objective, we fight. I'm not too opposed to this right now. They have no vision of it right now. Wait, what? Holy shit, I do damage too! It's not like I don't do any damage. I fucking hurt. I melted him with the Mortal Reminder. I think the Sylas is going to come face check me here. Oh fuck, look at that crit damage! This is crazy! So one of our E's gives us 19 armor. Here's the thing about, about Graves here, guys. If you dash towards enemies, you get 2 stacks. So one E into the enemies can give me 28 armor and fucking 18— wait, 19 MR. And when you, when you look at the stats, just one E from a, um, wait, so, so one E into the enemies gives us 30 armor, 600 gold worth of stats, no magic, is 20 MR, 400 gold worth of stats. So one E into the enemies gives us 1k gold worth of stats. And picture you keep using your E's over and over and over again, you get 8 stacks, that's 4k gold worth of stats for free. Wait, 38? Oh shit, I'm doing the math wrong. Wait, wait, wait. Oh, I just fucking failed school, like. Even more, even more. So it's, it's like, it's like a little more than 1K, 1.2K I want to say, K gold with the stats, which is fucking crazy, bro. Ah, he ulted. That's all of his HP bar. Holy shit. It's like, think about how much damage that was there. I have so much stats. All the stats in the world are mine. Ah. I Fleet Footwork Smite. That slows me for a bit. Fuck, I just got to run through. I think that's game. G, fucking G. Gee fucking gee, that was a complete carry. My top laner— I don't know, my entire team just failed me, but I was able to 1v9 the game. I am fully convinced this shit is absolutely broken. I'm gonna leave it. That game was so good. Even though the early game wasn't as powerful because I didn't have my points into my E, I still think that was a great game to end this video off on.
