Welcome back to another Viego game. Here we have an interesting game where there's 4 melee champions, yet we're still going Hail of Blades. And we're going to collect the first item. Let's talk about that real quick. So the enemy has Mordekaiser, Master Yi, Akali, and Camille. When you think about those champions on paper, they're all melee bruiser-ish champs, but they don't actually build that many defensive stats. Master Yi is building damage, Camille is building like HP-ish items, my Mordekaiser is not building too much like defensive stats, and then the Akali is either. So we are still trying to one-shot the enemies with the Halo Blade setup. We also have a sneaky little Leona, Zilean, Senna, which all these champions have super fucking annoying CC, especially Leona. I wouldn't be surprised if the enemy wants to go for Merc Treads, and if they don't, we're going to cook them. Okay, so let's go ahead and clear all the way top down towards the bot side, and let's talk about just generic Viego things I'm going to be working on. Very specifically this game, guys, I want to show you how I'm thinking about the fights when I play every team fight. So I'm going to do less macro-related things and more team fight-related things. We're still going to talk about macro in the early game, but I want to show you guys how to properly team fight on this champion. So let's take a look at the bot side here. It's Camille, uh, Hecarim, or Camille, Heimerdinger. Uh, so it's a little bit interesting. Um, we're gonna have scaling Senna, and Leona has decent setup. The Heimerdinger does not have a cleanse, so we can definitely look for a fight in the bot side. The Master Yi is 8 CS on the Raptor camp. I wonder what that means. Bot trades don't look, uh, too great for us, I'll be honest. I think this guy is drunk. Yeah, that guy's drunk as hell. And it looks like the Master Yi started top lane. So what I'm gonna do with this in mind is I'm going to look to hit the Scryers, see if he's on blue buff. He is on blue buff, he is there. And I'm just going to like leave this crab alone. Oh, actually, like, I mean, I think we can leave the crab alone. Yeah, I'm gonna bring their bot lane up and we're just gonna leave the crab. Like, it's fine. I used a little bit of my time just so the enemy overstays and feels like they need to help out his teammate. But we're gonna go for the wrap— the top crab. We're gonna recall. We have enough for a Dirk. I believe we will if I wait till 3:30. I think especially I will because I'm gonna get another pet stack. There we go, we have another pet stack here. And then when we recall, we'll have enough gold because when you have a pet stack completed, you get an extra 20 gold. So that's perfect amount. We have our Dirk. Let's go all the way towards the top side. If you're struggling to get perfect gold for Dirk, this is a technique you can use if you can't find any plays around the map. It's very nice when you have the Collector setup to get this Dirk. Very— feels very, very good. Now this Mordekaiser here, I don't know if he has Flash or not. Let's scroll up. He didn't— my teammate doesn't ping that he's used Flash or not, so maybe it's just going to be the wave for me, which is fine. A fat wave is something we'll take. Ideally I get the kill, but you know, you can't, can't get it all sometimes. Now let's go back to our camps. I think that might give us our level 6 after our full clear, which I'm very happy with. So let's go for a Gromp, let's go for a Wolf, let's grab the entire— like all of our camps. And we have one winning lane, it's through the mid lane. My top laner's died twice, my bot laner's died twice, so we have a hell of a game through the top side and the bot side. Not good teammates overall, but their champions are going to be useful because we have a Leona and a Pantheon. So what do we do to win a game where we have 2 losing lanes right away? First things first, mentally don't check out. A lot of people check out when they see 2 losing lanes. They're like, "Oh, I can't win. GG, FF." No, like, this game is going to be winnable. We'll scale. We'll have time. Like, maybe my teammates will come back in this game. Even if they don't come back, I'm going to get strong. I'm going to play through my 2 other teammates who are not inting the game. Aka the Senna and the Zilean, which by the way are two insanely good scaling champions. So I'm going to work around my super scalers here and try to put myself in a good, nice, hard-winning game state. So there's something I could do here, and that's wait, you know, 15 seconds to get a pet stack here, which is what I'm going to do because the pet stack completion makes it so that if the Master Yi, for whatever reason, is pulling the dragon, I can flash over and like completely one-shot the Drake and he's going to be cooked. Well, he did it early. Which is also fine because what this means for me is I can go and like invade his Gromp safely, smite it, and then walk away and like I probably won't ever die. As long as I'm not on vision, I should be fine here. So we're gonna look at the laners and see if they start running towards me. Camille's missing. Camille's missing. Okay, his Gromp— his Gromp is gone as well. Wow. Okay, interesting. We can at least go behind the enemy bot lane here. Let's ping them. Let's ping them. Okay, it's good. Leona's fighting, that's good. I can definitely kill this Heimerdinger at least here. Great, we get this kill. I'm happy with— I'm happy with one kill. Actually, I can Flash E here. I can get two kills here, which is great because this Camille looked like she was out of position there. So we're looking for two kills. That Master Yi cleared so damn quickly, that's actually high-key impressive. Like, I didn't realize that. I didn't think that guy would clear so fucking fast. Uh, but anyway, we have a really good start to the game where we found ourselves 2 kills. I'm gonna wait for boots here and then run straight to my Gromp. I'm going to already consider that my blue buff is gone and the top crab is gone, and I have to be careful that the enemy guy can— the enemy Yi can invade my, uh, my Gromp here. Also, I didn't talk about the fight. Fuck, I need to try to get better at that. Um, Q this, see if it's up. He's not on it just yet. Is my blue buff up? Oh, my blue buff is up. Great. Okay, so this guy did not take my blue. I'm gonna have to say the crab is gone. No fucking way, bro. Just full combo him. No fucking way, bro. This guy did his camps first instead of the crab or my blue buff, and he just fucking cooked this game. And instead of getting blinded by the crab. I, I W'd him there because it's always safer to play for the kill and play for his conditions than it is to like smite fight a crab. Um, I mean, that is fucking awesome. So although we have a dead— like, the score is 3-5 and we have like a useless top laner, useless bot lane, they're going to provide CC, which is good enough. That's good enough to try and win this game. We have scaling mid, scaling Senna. I have to 1v9 this game, and I'll do my best to talk about the fighting. Okay, let's keep farming down towards the bot side. In this game state, you do not want to pull the Grubs. Whenever you're behind, do not pull Grubs. I repeat, repeat after— I repeat, guys, whenever we're behind, do not pull the Grubs. Super duper important. I cannot stress this enough. And depending on how Camille's pathing, as you can see, she's going straight to the Grubs. That gives me full confidence that I could run into Master Yi's bot side and take his bot camps. Now he does have a ward, the Camille. So the Camille might be able to like come back. Let's see if Heimerdinger is walking towards me. I don't think so. Uh, yeah, I don't think the Heimerdinger is walking towards me. If, if I need to escape here, I will run through the Heimerdinger. And then we're going to go for a shieldbow for sure, and then we'll clear top down naturally. This dragon is up in 22 seconds. I want to clear my top camps first, go down towards the bot side, and then maybe play for this dragon. This dragon could be fightable, uh, given my Zilean's conditions. Yeah, it's not bad. Their Heimerdinger has a Blackfyre Torch. No exhaust on Heimer, remember that. Uh, no flash on Camille, remember that as well. So those two conditions are super important for this next fight. And do we have anything else to think about? I mean, Zilean has R, which is good. My Leona has Flash, so if she can start something, that's also great. My Zilean is getting jumped right now. You can see how much damage I'm doing. And this Mordekaiser is— I mean, my Pantheon has TP, but I don't think— yeah, I mean, he has ulti and TP. This Mordekaiser doesn't even have a shutdown though, so I don't know how worth it is to expend my tempo and time when I have all my camps up because he's playing so safe. And he has such a good ward there with Phylites. So we want to go bot lane. Leona has a lot of setup, a lot of control in the bot side. So let's go down towards the bot lane. Okay, we have a good lead. We need to play the fights properly here, and we need to play through the right teammate. So in this game, playing through Leona means a lot. My Pantheon is drunk. The enemy Akali will always just shroud. We're level 11 in this position, and we can try to sit in this bush and sit here and pressure. I'm still here though, still have a lot of pressure here. Uh, but yeah, Sylas is a jungler, is a fighter, right? So fundamentally, we do want to take fights and we do want to look for advantages all around the map. So this gives me an opportunity to take his bot side and maybe gank bot lane, which is great because there's so much shenanigans going on in the game. Instead of being sad about the shenanigans, let's use this and abuse it. For runes, we have Conqueror, Triumph, Haste into Last Stand, Cosmic Insight, and Triple Tonic. Triple Tonic's kind of like a unique rune on Sylas, but I like it because Sylas as a champion likes to have more points in his spells. If Sylas has more points in his spells, he can do more. The Cosmic Insight is just nice to have our Flash up and our Smite up more frequently. But we're going to finish this camp here, and instead of staying on the map because I don't think there's going to be a bot gank for us, I'm just going to look to recall here and I'm going to go straight to my top camps and clear top down. Purchase a little Dark Seal and we'll be pretty happy with this game state right now. Let's buy this. We have the Triforce into Shojin and we're doing a little bit of a different runes Uh, this game we have ourselves some attack speed and, um, we have ourselves Triple Tonic, Cosmic Insight. So this build and rune path is specific to using our spells more actively during fights. Our main goal is to be as strong as possible when we're level 9 plus, and then Trinity and Shojin should be complete by the time we're around level 9, 10, 11. So that's our goal, is to just farm as disciplined and efficiently as possible and be as strong as humanly possible at the time of, you know, minute 9, 10, 11. So I'm gonna continue clearing our camps all the way up towards the top side. What the hell is happening? That Olaf just dove and got himself killed. That's good, we have a winning top laner. Why am I starting wolves real quick? Let's talk about that. The wolves start is very simple. The wolves start is because I want to do a camp Um, that's not my buff because it'll respawn faster. And if I do the, uh, Raptors, the enemy TF and the Graves are stronger than me, so they can reinvent my Raptors pretty easily. It's extremely hard to invade Krugs— or sorry, to invade Wolves.
