League players are terrified of diving, and the main reason stems from one thing: it's the lack of information. In this clip, I'll break down all the leading indicators that allow me to get a guaranteed dive in the top side. So first things first, we notice here that the Graves got the dragon over here. We know that the Graves is in the bot side, so that tells me making a play in the top side is great. The second thing I notice here is that when I pan over to the top lane, I see that the Xin Zhao is about half HP. My Kayle is about 70% HP and 70% mana, and I noticed that the Kayle also has ultimate, so I'm very confident my Kayle is the Xin Zhao is weak, and we also add the fact that we have Hail of Blades, a Serrated Dirk, and a pickaxe. So I am extremely, extremely strong. My Kayle has ultimate, so we feel good overall. Fast forward this play 10 seconds, I need to dive on a wave. So because I'm trying to dive on this top wave, what I'm looking to do first is grab this red buff because I have extra time, about 10-20 seconds of time before I can sit top lane and wait. I'd rather not sit in a bush top lane and accomplish nothing for 20 seconds, so I use that time to get this red buff and Boom, this Xin Zhao is a guaranteed free dive. If you aren't able to get successful dives off in your games, it's most likely stemming from no information. You aren't watching the play or preparing the play 30 seconds in advance. If you guys learned a thing or two, make sure to follow for more jungle tips.
