This Is How To END GAMES By Using Your Lead

Perry Norman breaks down how to close out League of Legends games when ahead. Focus on the only available major objective like Baron Nashor, position to force fights around it, and use the objective to start engagements rather than finish them. Proper teamfight execution, angle selection, and target priority determine whether you convert your lead into a win.

How do I end the game when I have a lead in League of Legends? I get asked that so many times, and we're gonna break down the two fundamentals I always use to close out games when I have a lead. In this game right here, you can see that my top laner is 3-7, my mid laner is 3-5, my bot laner is 3-5. I have 15 out of the 27 kills in this game, and I'm still going to manage to win the next crazy team fight. The first fundamental I'm going to use here is I am going to play around an objective that is up. In this case, the only objective that is up is the Baron, so I'm going towards the Baron side, and I'm trying get into a position where I can attack the enemies when they try to contest the Baron. This brings me to the second fundamental, which is always turn off the objective. I am using the objective to start a fight, and I am trying to start a fight so I can kill the enemies with my lead. I am not trying to finish the objective. I am turning on the enemy. So as you can see here, I don't hit the Baron. I end up hitting it a little bit. I see the fight begins, and I get off the Baron immediately. Now that we've started a fight here, I'm extremely happy to just go in do my thing as Viego, and it all stems from us looking to start a Baron fight. Okay, if I wasn't trying to start the Baron fight here in this play, I would have never ended up getting this crazy fight. Of course, when you have a big lead, you still have to play team fights correctly. You still have to properly look for angles. Watch this really cool clip here where I see Elise pull the Raptor camp and I WWR one-shot her, secure the objective. But anyway guys, if you find yourself losing games when you have a lead, it's because you aren't playing around the objective. And maybe you are, but you aren't playing for the second fundamental, which is always turn on the objective. You do not want to stick on the objective and just be caught in the pit. You want to make sure to start that fight, destroy the enemies, and then get a guaranteed Baron. If I did not get off the Baron in this game, I probably would have lost the team fight and then lost this game. If you guys learned a thing or two, make sure to follow for more jungle tips.
