VIEGO: Crit or Bruiser?

Hey guys, it's Perry. Today's video, I want to talk about the difference between Crit Viego and Bruiser Viego. So I'm gonna play Crit this game and I'll explain the difference. This game, the main thing you're looking for is squishy enemies and at least one frontline on your team. If you have those 2 conditions, then you can go Crit almost anytime. If you have no frontline at all, you want to consider the Kraken Bruiser build, Kraken Titanic Hydra. Otherwise, Crit is fine. And so let's talk about the build and let's talk about my thought process here. So we are going to go Collector into Infinity Edge into an LDR. If they buy double Zhonya's, Plated Steelcaps, and some more pieces of armor, I will skip the IE and I will go for an LDR instead. And so it just kind of depends on what the enemies are buying. And so this game they have a very squishy top jungle mid ADC. They can buy 3 Zhonya's though. They're also like 4 AP, but they can buy 3 Zhonya's, which is kind of fucked up. Even— I mean, technically Galio can buy Zhonya's too, uh, and if they do, we just have to buy an LDR. But because they're so squishy and we have a Nautilus to set us up, I will go for The crit build. But let's say in this game I had literally zero frontline. I had a Lulu support. I would probably go for the Kraken Titanic Hydra build even though they're very squishy because we need frontline to face check. We need that HP from the Titanic Hydra to play the game. Otherwise, we'll be a little bit too far, a little bit too squishy all around. My ballion's winning already. My oh TP TP TP TP TP TP TP TP TP. Ah, the guy is cooked. The Galio gets the kill as well. That's pretty— or the, the Echo does. That's pretty fucked, but it's all good. It's all good. Is that a beard growing? A slight one. Yes, sir. I gotta shave. Okay, so this guy might get jumped here, which is very good. Well, this thing is resetting on me. Wow! They don't actually get the kill. Crazy. And this A soul is freezing that. Okay, we have full information of the enemy bot lane, like jungle and whatnot. This is warded, so I do need to like not get spotted by the ward. And so I need to just give it a second. That's gonna spot me. Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. We should probably play for this here. Got this guy's flash here. Beautiful. This lock is able to kill this guy. Beautiful as well. Cool. This guy needs to hook the wall. The Acel coming there is a bit, a bit, a bit much for us to be able to deal with. And this guy's level 2, so we gotta run. Uh-oh. I think the Nidalee is probably going to the bot lane. I'd imagine she's going to her Krugs. We'll see her cross towards the top side after. I'm going to clear my top camps, then I'm going to recall. I don't see her there. Oh, there she is. Okay, well, this Aphelios is doing the super trap. This Ekko is getting like— this Ekko is collecting kills. My Aphelios got a kill there too. It's good. All right, let's recall, go Wolves Gromp. We are going to buy ourselves the Serrated Dirk. We'll buy boots after. If you have enough gold for both the Serrated Dirk and the Crit Cloak, I would buy that as well. But in this case, I don't, so it's fine. All right, I want to get all my, all my bot side camps, play for this crab, and maybe even for the raptor respawn. Oh shit, I lost all my lighting. Okay, let's go ahead and play for this crab. Yes, I like that he's pinging on there. Let's communicate as much as we can. Take this. Communication is key. We also will have a bigger Smite. I'm gonna save my Smites. This guy's kind of low as well. Huge. I should ping this guy off here. This Locke needs to— Okay, we get his We get his Raptor camp too then. I like this all around, to be honest. We could probably look to regank the bot lane possibly. I, I don't like this Nautilus's positioning at all here. Beautiful, beautiful. Honestly, can I heal enough? Warning. An enemy has been slain. This guy can't kill me. I was thinking, can I heal enough to kill him? But nah, that's, that's a little too much. We wanted to stay in the bot side pressure there because the enemies, uh, I was able to get us Raptors and have a good position. When you have an advantageous position like that, you always want to utilize it to flank people and hit them from the back. If you have a like positional advantage like that, they usually can't ever deal with your position. That's why I attack him like that. Okay, from here we just want to hit the full clear, then go all the way down towards the bot side. I don't care about the grubs. We have a winning bot lane. I want to grab this dragon at some point. Give them backshots. Give them as many backshots as possible, man. It's the best way to do things, man, actually. Let's go clear the Raptors. Go Wolves, Gromp. I'm gonna go back. Whatever's happening here, don't want— we don't want any part of this. Like, it's fine. Lives, dies, doesn't matter. I have, I have a sequence to commit to, and unless it's very guaranteed, very easy to generate free gold, I won't do it. So that, that looks so far away. That looked pretty hard. It looked like we were losing. So just leave it alone. Go farm my camps. I'm gonna farm everything, and then I'm gonna go for this dragon, maybe go for the Raptors as well. My feel is very strong here too. Oh yeah, it's fine. It will be fine. That's gonna happen when you try to cycle camps. We should play for his Raptors real quick. Just me or the Viego E invisible in the skin? It's like it can be kind of hard to see. I fuck with the skin for that reason. Okay, my Nautilus should probably just stay here. My Aphelios probably wants to go for a plate and then play for this. No, he's just gonna come. Okay, that's nice. It's a pretty good skin. Is that fucked up? I like playing skins that are like, just give you a possible advantage in terms of animations and shit. Okay, Nidalee's topside. I have my item, very powerful here. I'm gonna go towards the topside. Walk backwards, kill him with our Q. Beautiful. Most important thing there was walking backwards so the W connects. Otherwise, I don't, I don't know if the W would have connected there. And the pay-to-win skins For support come to your mind? Uh, you got to tell me a champion. You got to tell me a champion. I know Fiddlesticks. Like, any really ugly skin is really good. Any really ugly skin or dull. Blitzcrank. Um, oh, there is, there is one. I don't know the name of it though. Maybe someone in chat will know what it is. But Blitzcrank is all about animation canceling. If you just like stand still and laugh, they'll get scared. It's like you walk up at someone, stand still, and like do like— I think it's Ctrl+2, taunt or laugh. They'll think you're throwing a hook out. It's really good. This guy wants to— this guy needs to recall. I mean, he, he should probably recall, but I'm down to like trap one time here. This guy most definitely should have recalled like ages ago. Is it Eyeblood's Crank? It might be, or like the legendary, like a space one. I'm not, I'm not sure exactly what it— which one it is. Oh fuck, this is a really fucked up position. Okay, this guy should get one shot here. Full combo, the guy's just dead.

Dying for the cause. Dying for the cause, good man. Fuck. If I charged my W longer, I would have killed him there. Are they buying any armor? Nah, it doesn't look like they have too much armor. Honestly, I'm gonna do this extra crit cloak here. I think I'll have enough gold for an Infinity Edge at some point. Uh, 1,600 doesn't seem too bad. And the extra crit is just gonna be very, very helpful. We go Krugs, red buff, Raptors, all the way down. We want to keep farming for our items. Smite that. You are beautiful. Let's go all the way down towards the bot side, play for this dragon. Very like clean game around the Aphelios. It'll make this game very easy for us to win. One really important part about crit Viego is that the Infinity Edge just increases your damage by a lot. Your Q damage and your R damage specifically. Also, this Aphelios is Thanos. He's playing insanely well too. Let's go here, clear these camps. I want to go play for her Raptors as well, and then we'll go play for the— we'll play for this. I think I can grab the Raptors. It might be a little bit spooky. I might have to smite it and then run for my freaking life. It's a Galio though. He doesn't have too much long-range gap closing. Pretty short range.

Okay, should find this Ekko here. Beautiful. This Ekko is dead as fuck. I will go for the dragon. Good. I wonder which item choices like this is just placebo and which ones are actually effective. Um, I think it's just a lot— there's a lot of logic, and I think at the end of the day, a lot of these items are pretty close to each other in terms of how much actual damage they're dealing. I think it's very negligible. Very small amounts of damage are making the difference, to be honest, to me. Let's buy this. Let's go for the LDR now at this point. I'm gonna go clear towards the bot side. Just repeat the clear all the way down towards bot lane. This guy is fighting up there. I'm gonna say that like, hey, it probably is nice to help him, but— What? He's winning. Jesus. Okay, the Jayce killed with Ignite. The thing is, we have such a clean game to just clear top down and then play for the camp respawn. And so I just want to take the really, like, easy way to winning this game. I don't need to overcomplicate it at all. We have 10 CS per minute. We're going to have like— we're just going to keep that going, clear our camps literally the moment it spawns. Like, this spawned, bang, we clear this again, and then we're going to go invade camp. So even if my Corki died, which she did, and even if they didn't get any kills, my game plan is still the same. Nothing would have changed. I still have the same game plan. I'm gonna come into this bush and I'm gonna pressure and then grab some camps. Okay, I missed that there. Okay, we get one and then we will go back to camps. And take everything down here. It's a bit too hard, bro. I get extra movespeed. I have a dash here too. Beautiful. And then we go for the Krugs on the top side. The Gromp, I mean. I mean, this turret does seem juicy to hit once, so I'm going to hit it. So IE second is better. Yeah, IE second is very powerful. Okay, grab his ulti here. Check this out. Can use the fog there beautifully. Oh my God, no way, I'm actually out of here. That's the best part. I'm actually fucking out of here. We used the E fog there, like, and we just— dude just fucked them up. And then we're gonna clear top down and then repeat the sequence. Just do it all over again. I got away with murder there, to be honest. I, I definitely got away with murder there. In this case, they don't have much armor at all, so I'm just gonna go for the full shieldbow. Jeez. And then my teammates are cleaning them up here. Honestly, is Galio gonna come straight to me? No, he's ulting out. He's dead. Okay, couldn't get all of them there, but that's fine. We'll just keep the full clear all the way down. Did I need to flash? It's worth saving flash and just dying to the Galio there. Like, it's fine if Galio gets the kill. It's, it's fine. Shieldbow is just kind of like an item that if they have high burst gets more valuable, but it's not something that you want to prioritize at all times if you can go for IE or you can go for LDR. It's a pretty defensive item at the end of the day. So as long as, like, if you really need to survive, you can go for Shieldbow. This game I can also go Edge of Night. Uh, uh, like last item. Edge of Night's pretty powerful. Fuck. Okay, I fucked up. We're gonna lose some shutdowns. We're gonna make this game closer. It's all good. Are you going to TwitchCon this year? Oh, I have no E here, so let's just try to take this. My Aphelios, they, they just like face checked into Aphelios, which just won the game. I don't even know what happened. My Aphelios was 0 HP. Like, if you look at his interface earlier, he literally had like 1 HP, and then he had full HP, and they got— and they just died. Just one-shot that guy. That guy was breathing on me. I mean, not the cleanest game. We made some big mistakes, but you guys get to see like that damage is so It's so high. It's so fun to play. Well, I will send you guys to watch the Bruiser Viego game now. I hope you guys enjoy. Hey guys, we have our Bruiser Viego game. In this game here, there's an Aatrox, Hecarim, Vladimir, specifically a Leona. And so when you see a composition like that, they have high damage, relatively tanky as well. And if I'm playing Hail of Blades full crit Viego, I will get absolutely dumpstered. I'm gonna show up, walk up, get hit by one thing, two things, any sort of CC, and I will just die splat. And that's why we want to go for Kraken Slayer into Titanic Hydra. It's a very specific build path this game that I will be doing simply because I do not want to get one-shot when I walk into fights. I literally will die and I can't do anything about that. So we're gonna go red buff, Krugs, Raptors, full clear down towards the bot side. We have a Leona, Braum that we can play around. I want to play around these guys. Very important if you guys want to get better at Viego is to make sure— or in the game at all— like, use your spells on cooldown. Okay, I've coached 3 people Recently where they just aren't using their spells the moment they have it, and you just like lose time. Like, you just clear slower. It's pretty self-explanatory, but you guys would be surprised how many times I've seen this on many different ELOs, all the way up to like Emerald, of like people just don't use their spells. And so I need to see more of that. I don't want to coach another person where they're just not using spells. We want to clear towards the Braum lane because it's gonna be kind of spicy. And even if it's not too spicy, whenever I show up, if they land their passive and if I'm there, we can almost guarantee a full kill. We can walk back here, look for an auto W, look at mid trades. Okay, pretty chill. And so we go for Kraken Slayer into Titanic Hydra. And the main thing about Kraken Titanic is it works well because Titanic is one of the Uh, items that give the most amount of HP in the game. I think it might actually give the most HP in the game. And then also the, uh, Kraken just works well with Titanic because you can get an extra Kraken proc. And so after that, you go for like an LDR. You could go for some, um, other HP item. It's possible, but LDR at the end of that is really good. The big thing is just having that Titanic Hydra with Kraken. Really insane combo. And so like, I'll show you guys real quick in Fighter. An Overlord's Blood Mail gives 550 HP, Titanic gives 600. And so you guys can sort of see what I mean by like, you get so much HP from the, uh, the big— the, the Titanic Hydra. Sterak's gives 400, Shrydbreaker 450. And so you can just really see how like, you just get the most amount from a Titanic. Hydra. I will take until there is nothing left but her. Oh my God, bro, I'm just gonna defend. I just completely inted. I just completely inted. But this, this Gwen's on the way ping just really, like, just really fucking pissed me off there. And so ultimately it's fine, it's not the end of the world. I still have 2 crabs and everything, but this Hecarim has 3 fucking kills. But I did get mind controlled there. It's been a minute since I've been— since I've played, and so I am just a bit mind controlled. Uh, I need to have a little more confidence in my own play. And I'm not gonna lie, that Hecarim is a fucking beast. He is so fucking strong. But it's all good. Hecarim is Huncho. Okay, even better. We have to win this game then. All right, I better stop trolling. I made this game kind of funky. Force to kill for. Let's go wolves, let's go Gromp, let's go down towards the bot side after. I definitely think our comp is good for dealing with their champs. Well, why are— why are my wolves just losing their minds? Um, I want this bot crab very badly, and I should have a bigger smite than him, and so this bot crab should definitely be mine. As long as we have decent conditions in my lanes. And so what I'm gonna do is I'm gonna finish this, maybe hover my mid lane, um, maybe bot lane first if anything. Probably bot lane first. What is the rage of the Ravenous Shadow? Okay. Beautiful. Okay, we probably want to go for, uh, Merc Shreds is probably a bit better, honestly, because they have a Leona. Right, but it's— it'll be okay. Sit here. Let's go down, clear down towards the dragon. We still have a pretty good game on our hands where we're not that weak. Can walk towards my Braum here. The Shadow Isles are just the beginning. Go, go Raptors into the dragon.

And so I hope that Hecarim goes towards the top lane. If Hecarim comes towards the bot lane, it's a bit cooked. But I think the Hecarim will go towards the top side. Yeah, he is. Huncho, Huncho, Huncho, Huncho, I'm back on the rift, man. You better watch yourself. We're up a lot on him right now. And so we'll hit our full clear and then we will come hover our mid laner by a bit. I'm still pretty strong even though I'm sitting on a lot of gold. And I do want to recall here. Let's go for a little recall. Let's buy ourselves the Plated Steelcaps here. And then let's go for a bunch of HP. I know this feels a little funny, but in this, in these fights, surviving is so important. And we also have the, uh, green smite. And so as long as I'm alive in these fights, they can't do shit. The Kraken will get me enough damage, same thing with Conqueror, and then my teammates have a lot of damage too. Hecarim trades here, which means his Krugs are up. We can also maybe pressure him in the mid lane. Not Krugs, his Raptors. I wonder though. I know for sure his Raptors are up. I don't know if his blue buff is up. See how— see how much HP I have? See how unkillable I am? I— the Jhin is just sitting in this bush. Okay, hit the full clear. We got the bot turret at least, that's good. Still very strong in this game. My red buff might be taken, but it's okay. Okay, my, my Sylas is playing very well. My Gnar is playing very well too. I'm not gonna get killed as well there. It's just a fat wave for me to catch, so honestly we should try to catch that. Never mind, we're just gonna go down towards the crab. I cannot, I cannot stop that from happening. The Death's Dance on the Hecarim is going to be giga annoying, but we should be okay. Let's see if the Vladimir walks in here. He has no W. Okay, let's recall here. Oh fuck, I misclicked. Let's buy our Titanic. We're sitting on so much gold. Let's go for that LDR. Honestly, a Mortal Reminder sounds better. The HP has paid off. Yeah, the HP has really been paying off. I mean, the Hecarim is gonna be pretty strong. Hun Chi Hun Chi is getting strong, but our comp is really good against Hun Chi Hun Chi, and they have a lot of healing, so we get massive Executioner's value. He has 9 kills though, and so that means that he has like a lot of extra gold. My top laner should have items soon or something. Nope. Yeah, my Sylas is fucking putting in work this game. Legend. Beautiful, we found a pick on the side. Aatrox is walking forward disrespectfully. And so now my Gwen can kind of play the game however she wants. My Sylas is just beating him 1v1. That's crazy. He also has an Oblivion Orb. It hurts. Let's go towards the mid lane. I want to pressure very hard here. We should just break this turret at least. Got his flash. That's good. I don't think I can make it all the way around here, so let's just Look to see if there's any camps. No camps. I'd like to recall then. Sylas will recall eventually too. We have an LDR here at this point— a Last Whisper, I mean. Go towards our topside camps. They're falling apart. And so this game should just be slowly bleeding out for them, if— as long as we don't like giga int over and over.

So goodbye. Wow. I'm just gonna take this really quickly and then go join the team. And so I'll use my Smite. No camps, obviously we are trying to end the game. And so Smite this, run to the team, get level 16. The Vladimir is level 7— level 12, sorry. They they are they are so cooked here. Wait, does Gwen lose? Nope, that's getting done, baby.
