WUKONG Is Finally BACK In The Meta! His New W Is Crazy Good!

Guys, Wukong just got buffed and he's really, really, really strong. I'm gonna put up on the screen here the Wukong changes. His W does 10% more damage and it lasts for 0.75 more seconds. That's a lot of time. And his E has 5% more attack speed on every single rank, so that's going to help his clear speed by a lot. Honestly speaking, guys, this champion is in a really good spot. I highly recommend you play him if you like a kind of fighter champion. That has a lot of carry potential. You need items on this champion to make him work, but once you get those items, you're gonna be a raid boss on Wukong. Okay, keep in mind Wukong is a farming jungler at its core, but once you get your second item, past that second item to maybe your third item, you want to fight as much as you possibly can. As you can see though, guys, my clear feels a lot better. If you've played Wukong in the past, you know, you know the Wukong clear feels a little sluggish. I'm not clearing as slowly anymore because I have points into— or I have the extra attack speed from my E. Alright, let's full clear all the way down. Let's watch lanes. We have a Shaco mid lane, so this is quite the interesting comp. My Shaco's living on slivers of HP right now. Jhin has won the bot lane. We have a Vi support. I don't know what the hell I am playing with, but we're doing something here. I'm gonna finish my camps as a main priority, and then we're gonna go clear towards the bot side. Where's the enemy jungler? It's an Udyr. Udyr's probably just gonna be full clearing, so let Udyr full clear. My bot lane is freaking diving their Xayah. Excuse me? Okay, we're off to a great start. Let's see how we can, um, you know, capitalize the win in this game. And look at our clear, guys. Our clear just feels so quick. I'm— I haven't cleared this fast on Wukong in forever, and it's, it's felt like I've never been able to clear like this. My Shaco is getting jumped here. That doesn't look too good for him. Top laner got solo killed by the Xin Zhao, and the Udyr's in the top side. Okay, so both junglers are gonna get a crab here, which is really nice. Wukong getting an early crab, this feels good. Get all those. Rell's probably warded in the bot river. Let's just go for the crab here. We're gonna be nice and happy. What I could do is walk on out here, drop a ward, and then turn around here. Oh, I need to get the fuck out of here. I'm fucking dead, probably. Need to flash on out here. My fault, my fault, team. My fault, team. Get the fuck on out of here. I mean, we traded one, but that was all my bad. Okay, yo, team, my fault, my fault. Let's buy these Sheen. I should play Wukong as more of a scaling champion, not hard fighting in the early game. Okay, my bot lane is still winning. Still play through bot lane. Look at the Xayah. Xayah has decent items as well now though, is the thing. Wait till we have Sheen ready and then we can use it. Try to use your Sheen as much as you can if you're going Sheen first item, which generally speaking is strong. Generally speaking, Sheen first item is really good. Damn, this is really unlucky. That guy's going to trade one for one. Uh, I think Shaco at least got the crab there, or got the, got the little camp. Udyr's clearing up towards the top side, so he's probably going to be on this crab. Let's give up that crab. My bot lane just lost 2v2. So we have the game that we're like, we're not ahead anymore, we're actually behind. It is what it is. Let's play for our level 6. Then once we have that level 6, we can look to maybe fight through bot lane, farm the Drake. The Aurora has no ulti. My Shaco will have ult advantage. I have leveled up Smite as well. If the enemy bot lane comes at all, I can pressure. Yep, we're here. Got a nice little kill there. I'm going to use my ulti for this kill here as well. Get the double kill. Why not? With my ulti, it's always solid. You can use your spell, your ulti there for double kill. Feels pretty, pretty good. Probably nothing we're doing here. Let's just recall, spend our gold. If that Udyr overstepped by a bit more there, maybe we could chunk him. I don't think we could ever kill him there, but it's okay. Phage is always really nice so you can kite efficiently. Uh, Phage gives you, you know, 20 movespeed for 2 seconds on every single auto attack. It's really, really, really strong to have. Top lane is war right now. Their Xin Zhao's gonna heal a bunch. Their Xin Zhao's giga healing. Unfortunately, it's warded there. We have a nice vision there. Okay, let's just try to farm for our item. Our Vi is going like tank, it seems. So Vi's not gonna be useless. Their Xin just heals to full HP. Wow, that's ridiculous. All right, let's, let's look to full clear. The Udyr got the dragon. I have my Wukong passive. I should not lose this here. Okay, we end up getting that kill. Good. My, my ulti is coming up as well. I know the Udyr is likely in the top side. I do want like one Grubh and then I could leave.

We get this guy killed here. I have my ulti to kill him. Whenever Wukong has R, you're really, really, really, really strong. You always want to utilize your ultimate on Wukong. Like, take fights confidently when you have your R. Plus, I had flash, this guy doesn't. How do I know that? I have Inspiration, he does not. Likely, most of the time, Wukong doesn't take Cosmic Insight. And we flash ball in pretty much at the same time. Now we have our first item. We're really strong with our first item. Oh, he missed that. You can never kill him there if you miss the slow. We're not going to be able to kill him.

Okay, that's his flash at least. Let's go defend the bot camps. Rell's chasing like a psycho. I need to buy my item, go defend the bot camps. Maybe my Fiora can live at least. The— this guy probably has Flash. Yeah, unfortunately I got hit by the, the W from the, from the, um, Udyr. It is what it is. We're just gonna take the L in that situation there. We almost have our ulti. We're not farming too well. We have decent gold though in this game. Like, we have some kills. So we're fine. Stay away from our top laner. Like, essentially this game is— I'm gonna beat this guy and move on from, from playing around him. My mid's actually doing pretty good, so is my ADC, uh, but my top laner is someone I just don't even want to work through at all. Yeah, look at my— look at my mid laner, he's putting in work. We have our item at least, so with our item completion, we should be able to do a lot. Okay, I don't need to do anything here. Let's just go for our Raptors, Red Krugs. We're gonna keep farming here. We have our ulti to fight this Drake. We want to use our ulti on this dragon very badly. What boots are we gonna buy here? Xin Zhao's going like AP-ish. Probably just some Merc Treads this game because Udyr's also AP. Yeah, stay away from Fiora. My Jhin does not have item and their Xayah does. My mid laner's— like, my mid laner is strong. He has his item. I have my ulti as well. Like, I'm pretty happy here. So I do want to fight. My mid laner also wants to fight here. So let's just fight. Yeah, stay away from that guy. Let's see if we can buy the Mercs here. I think Mercs this game early on is not bad at all just because they have so much AP damage down there. My Fiora is getting absolutely shit on in the top side, like disturbingly shit on. I have no ultimate anymore, so when you have no ulti, generally speaking, you just don't want to fight. If I did not want to go in there. Great, we got another kill for ourselves. It's good. All right, let's see if we can carry this game, guys. The game is like pretty even right now. We're probably going to be down another dragon. I have no ultimate. I can't really fight that anyway. So let's just try and farm our camps. Let's just be very efficient on, on every single camp. We see the top side. Let's grab this as well. The enemy jungler's on the Drake. Okay, we can farm all the camps here. The enemy Xin Zhao probably has ultimate by this time, but we should still play for him. Okay, we still got his ass. Good. I'm gonna pressure the top turret here as well. My mid laner is getting absolutely gigadove, but it's like, it is what it is. He's stalling some good time here. Yo, wait, this, this freaking Shaco is like putting in God's work. But enemies are diving him and they're just griefing the game. I can play for this turret up by a bit here. I could probably get a plate or two. I might as well. Oh my gosh, that's really unfortunate. The Udyr living on 1 HP. Uh, I didn't realize he had a Plate of Steelcaps there. He's really tanky. I'm still really fed, nothing has changed. The Aurora ulted though. This guy ignited. I'm going to go back to the topside. I'm going to keep farming down. We want to deny them this Dragon. The Dragon denial is the biggest thing this game for sure. My Fiora needs to chill the fuck out, probably. All right, at least we can catch the top wave. My, my Jhin is doing good. Like, my Jhin is the win con this game in reality here. Fuck, I didn't hit the plant over. Oh my gosh, this is just so sad, dude. There's Xin Zhao just like doing this is so disturbing. I think we're going to buy an Executioner's early on cuz I'm actually getting so mind-boggled from this, from what the Xin Zhao is allowed to do. Our Fiora is just inting the game as well. It's just so depressing. He has no ulti at least, the Xin Zhao. Nice. Okay, at least he's killable. He's playing a little too aggressively. Let's play around our Jhin as well. I have my ulti. Like, I kept taking fights that just should not be taken around my top laner. Like, I kept taking fights around the wrong guy. That's the thing about Wukong though. Like, you want to play him like a farming jungler because if you don't have your ultimate, you just don't have the right conditions to take a lot of fights. Top laner is dead again. I mean, you have to play around the right teammate too. It's just this role or this champion is not very forgiving if you fight with the wrong guy. Ability haste is really powerful on Wukong. So farming all these little guys is really nice. Getting all these guys. Using my W early here so I can one-shot this camp. Deal enough damage for that. I could probably kill this blue buff too and escape on the way out. This guy's just disrespecting, walking in. He's just gonna disrespect and walk in like that. We'll full combo him, take his life as well. He walked into the Shaco box. And if we're playing with Jhin and this, um, Shaco, we'll be able to win the game very easily. Look at that Shaco damage. If, if Jhin landed that W there, that guy was dead. It's the crazy part. Also, Vi's solo killing that guy, so just stay away from this freaking top laner and the game just gets so much better. I can play for this camp. He's dead right now. We're also breaking the mid turret. He's gonna run here depressed.

I'm gonna stand here, thumbs up him, kind of just dance around, see where the Udyr is going. If the Udyr is going for the camp here, we definitely want to play, want to defend this.

Kill this guy while they're chasing Vi. That guy's just getting chased. I get two Sundered Skies procs here. Just hit the front. Jhin got him. Great. We can go with Shaco now. They're over— they're going deep. Fiora's getting a lot on the top side for free. If we don't kill him, I can kill him here. We do kill him. Jhin's in the bot lane now. Oh, they're— this guy is chasing. The way this Udyr is playing is pretty disrespectful. I can just channel recall here. I'm going to buy Black Cleaver components. We're gonna go topside. And we're gonna clear top down. You can definitely feel the strength in my W lasting longer. The invis doesn't last, you're not invisible for any longer, but the clone staying there helps you deal more damage all around. And in the actual team fights, we're gonna see it really help out in the fights itself. Let's play for the Xayah. Let's grab this guy. Sure will be alive. We should take the pick. Always the pick is really good because then we can turn that into the objective. Pick always equals objective. Like you can see guys, a lot of Wukong's damage comes from just like auto attacks, auto Qs, auto Qs, auto Qs, and then using your Q-R combo when the time comes. That's like the main thing on Wukong is get using your auto Qs and then Q-R combo. We have our item here. Now my entire team is staying on the map here, so I probably should stay as well. It's better to sync my tempo with my team rather than recall and watch them all die. I don't necessarily want to die here. I almost have my ulti as well. I'm gonna hover my team. I have a massive combo here. I don't think I die because I can knock him up again, walking back into the clone, like back into the freaking W. Like, the Shaco's planting boxes that just like win the game. This is so funny. The Shaco boxes are crazy. Most of the time you see when I'm fighting, I'm not trying to start with my W, but there I needed to because the Xayah, I want her to get killed before she can ulti. Yeah, right now Wukong feels really strong, and I played this game very poorly early on as well. Oh, I took an extra turret shot. Oh fuck. Okay, I did not think I was taking an extra turret shot there, but I was mistaken. Mistaken. It's okay, so we toss them some gold and then they might be able to grab the dragon. No, they can't because the Shaco boxes are just too freaking OP. They're pretty much like all AP in a way. Even the Xin Zhao's buying AP damage. We could go FON if we want. Spirit Visage is fine. Generally speaking, Maw is probably just the best this game though, so we're gonna go Maw. Okay, Shaco finally does something stupid. The objective boundaries are gone, so let's see how strong is Wukong's team fighting. I promise you guys, my team fighting is going to be really, really, really, really strong. Spicier game is a better game. It's not like we're playing a clean game anyway in the early game, so I just want to show you guys like how strong can this champion really get. Like, your W damage, you feel it, you feel it a lot. We're almost at our Maw as well. Okay, I probably want to just go push bot lane or like fight mid lane. Shaco's already going there. I'm gonna go push bot lane because my teammates are too far. Shaco might die up here. It is what it is if he does. I did have to flash, sadly. Fuck. Okay, our Fiora actually went top lane. I thought Fiora was coming down, but Fiora went up. All right, it is what it is. I mean, because they sent everyone bot lane to, to fuck with us, we're going to be able to break the entire top tier because they were 2v1'd as in Yeah, I mean, the Udyr champion in general is kind of annoying and hard for us to deal with as Wukong. Like, the ape is strong. We're strong. But that champion just does well into Wukong. Any AP jungler does pretty good into Wukong. Also, I'm disrespecting him. He's going like kind of AP with his build. So I need to keep that in mind as I, as we progress in this game. That guy's going like damage. Honestly speaking, I kind of want to just sell the Executioner's because the Udyr is not going any tankiness anyway. And let's just go for a Death's Dance at the end. So the way we win this game is just one good team fight. One good team fight and the game is over. So let's just chill. Let's farm a little bit. Nobody's alive on my team, so we're not going to try to invade. Once my Shaco and my Fiora are up, ready to fight, we can go fight. The Aurora is actually not that weak either. The Xayah is 2 items, so their Xayah is the weakest. Let's play for this crab, play for the Baron, win the game here. I don't want— and I don't want their Xin Zhao flanking us or anything, so we're gonna clear all their vision. I'm gonna level up mid-fight potentially, which can be really good for us. Shaco's gonna stall a giga long amount of time. The Udyr is very far away, so we can just finish this. I killed 2 there. We should be able to end the game. Jhin doesn't die, at least. Yeah, we're good. Should be a 3v1 against them in the mid lane. Our Shaco has TP if he wants to. That's the type of engage we need. We also had a lot of shielding from the Maw. The game should just be over now. So yeah, I mean overall Wukong is a really strong champion. You just have to have good fighting, good discipline. This game I didn't show great discipline, but you still saw the strength in all these fights that I had here. I was very, very, very strong. Jeez, that Udyr does so much damage. But it's not enough. Alrighty guys, let's jump into another game of Wukong to show you guys how strong this champion really is. Alright guys, let's jump into another Wukong game. We're against Rek'Sai, an early game fiend. We want to be extra disciplined this game on not dying and playing stupidly in the early game. Uh, we have a pretty good comp overall. Uh, our damage in the mid-late game might be a little lacking because we don't really have a mage. Generally, when you don't have a mage or an assassin, it's kind of rough. But they also don't have a mage or an assassin, like Oh, they don't have a mage, so yeah, yeah, both of them are going to be like low-key either really useful or really useless in the late game. Camille is going to scale and do a lot of damage too. Camille set. I kind of, I, I kind of do wish I was pathing towards top lane, but honestly, if we 2v2 top lane, I don't think we're going to win. Camille's a scaling champion. Camille's a scaling champion, and then the Rek'Sai is really, really, really strong. So Rek'Sai beats me, and then Camille probably loses to Sett. So we don't want to actually, um fight in the top lane. We want to just fight the bot side. It's bot side. We have like some slight competitive advantage in the bot side. At least it's better than top lane, I'd say. Drop our W so we can combo with our Q. Auto Qs constantly. Look at lanes, look at CS. So my mid is getting out CS by a bit. Keep our armor stacks against Rek'Sai. We're a lot happier with the Wukong passive. We're gonna have hella armor.

With your W lasting 4 seconds, you now can get like an extra Q with your pass— with your W, which is really nice. It helps you do a lot more damage in the fights and on your camps especially. Okay, Rek'Sai is pathing upward. Push him out here. Can maybe run to both crabs as well, cuz he has to walk the safe way. Honestly, we could look to do this. Holy shit. This guy just fucking did my entire HP bar. I'm probably just going to get the hell out of here. He one-shot that. If Rek'Sai plays for my Krugs, I'm going to be surprised. Let's just recall. Let's buy the Sheen with the haste. I'm normally not a big fan of Sheen, but because Wukong uses it really well, you could just take it. Now we could play into the top side, but it's probably better to just be disciplined again. Just, just discipline over everything. Like, Camille's happy. Happy enough. In a team fight, it's going to be extra important to play off your Sheen. Bot lane is doing pretty chill. I need to ping these guys. I think it's very likely that the Rek'Sai could run bot lane at this point. Now I want to finish my camps very badly. Okay, we at least got a 2 for 2, or a 2 for 3. It is what it is. Oh wow, it actually is like really favored for us. Let's just buy the Hearthbound Axe. I know last game I bought the Phage. Phage is nice, but I perfect gold for this. There's a bot crab here. Both junglers are pathing up. Honestly, if I go for this bot crab and then hit the dragon right away, I think it's going to be favored for us because we have not only, um, a good mid trade here, we also have a bot wave going into them. Playing Jayce? No, I do not. Can smite this early. Double smite should be able to clear this really fast. Okay, show me the— that guy, that guy just ran around, ran across the map to try and freaking stop me there, which I think is really inefficient for him. The Rumble has no flash, so we can actually kill this Rumble here.

I don't even need to tap my Q. He's going to die. Queuing there would secure it there. Queuing at the end would secure it as well. We got another kill there. That's really good for us. Our early game feels a lot more disciplined this game than before. We don't need to do the Grubs if we don't want to. Which I'm probably just going to stick to my camps. Status move my camps would be a lot better. Thing is, the Krugs don't give me my item, and I don't have my ulti, so I'm kind of like thinking if I should even do the Krugs. What I'll do is, because my mid condition looks pretty good, top, top looks okay, I'm going to go ahead and look to do the Krugs— the Grubs, I mean— because of how good mid condition looks. And this is gonna give me enough gold. That alone should give me enough gold. I have one Grub as well, which is good. Denies them 3 and then gives us the Moss Stomper and the EXP. And that gives me enough gold for when I do the Krugs. I can complete my item now. Let's hit B here. Let's grab our Triforce. Let's go to the bot camps. He's gonna get the win the top side. I have no ulti, so just let him win the top side. Like, it's completely fine. I'm the most CS in the game following the Rumble. But for me, like, I'm just— I have no CS by a lot. Sparta is doing really good. Okay, doesn't look too great for us there. I do have my item. I am pretty strong. Our bot wave doesn't look too great. I do need to help bot wave here. I used heal there on, on the, on the Sona, which is pretty nice. My Bard has ulti as well. I do want to play here. The Rek'Sai is probably in the top side. They used everything. Beautiful. Let's walk away here. I have a lot of gold, but his— well, his Raptors are coming up. But they are up actually. So I'm going to go play for them. Kind of want to at least. I don't know where their Rek'Sai is though. And Rek'Sai hasn't cleared the Void Grubs. So because Rek'Sai is like— I haven't got an alert that Rek'Sai is on the Void Grubs, that probably means he's on his bot camps. That's why I'm not gonna invade his bot side. You have to be really safe. Like, on the chance that he's just like maybe on his bot camps, my game is really fucked if I stay. So I'm not gonna risk it. The gain is not too much. I already got the double kill. Yeah, see, the Rek'Sai hasn't done the Void Grubs. Okay, I don't have my ulti, but I do have Bard, which is a numbers advantage. And the Rek'Sai is decently strong. So he's not weak at all. See if Rek'Sai comes for the blue buff or goes for the bot, um, the dragon. My Kali is no ulti. Our condition looks okay in the bot side. I have my ulti too. I mean, I'm able to farm a bit here because the Rek'Sai is looking to chase and push people out. I get this kill mid here. Beautiful. I'm willing to use my flash. Notice how I did not use my ultimate there, because using my ulti would mean I can't fight the objective.

I don't— I don't have my smite right now, so this is a complete takeover here, guys. My bot has 7 kills as well. What the hell? Great. So the reason why I'm able to go topside there and, and still contest the objective is because I know that they can't just one-shot the dragon. So I'm using the time that it takes for them through the dragon, and in part of my calculation, so that I'm able to squeeze some top camps and still fight the dragon. My goal remains the same: play for Drake.

Holy, that guy is strong as fuck. She's a Triforce too. Yeah, we went with double Triforce. I'm expecting an FF this game. It's full clear down, we have 2 dragons. Look at the scoreline. He's just in a good position where if you're able to you have discipline, you're able to fight, use your Qs, use your ulties, use your W effectively, you will end up winning some LP in lower elos.
