YouTube invite by Peter Smanjek (trustworthy-panther channel) promoting a webinar on reducing employee healthcare costs through alternative health interventions. The speaker claims cancer prevalence has risen—from ~10% in the 1970s to ~50% in 2022—and cites an expert prediction of 100% probability by 2030. He frames medical aid/health insurance as last-resort financial protection and emphasizes prevention and lifestyle-based control to cut premiums and liability. The webinar promises to reveal three core "secrets" for controlling employee health and sustaining cost containment.

Back in the 70s, we had a 10% chance of being diagnosed with cancer. Fast forward to 2022 and our probability of getting this dreaded disease is a whopping 50%. But did you know that by 2030 experts say that this will rise to a 100% probability. Cancer is the number one non communable disease in most countries of the world today. Non communable means a disease that develops within the body. It is not transmitted from one human to another. Cancer causes much suffering for many people and yet it is one of the lifestyle diseases that can be controlled and prevented by if we know the secrets to do so. Hi, I'm Peter Smanjek and I have spent a lifetime in health and over a decade in alternative health interventions. I have managed the risks on projects across Africa for hiv, aids, TB and malaria. My passion over the past decade has been to show how to take control of one's health and the relative cost thereon. Controlling employees healthcare costs has seen employers move from one medical aid to another. The choice was made on benefits for the cost. Swapping out one medical scheme option for a cheaper option has also been a way to survive the astronomical annual increases and limitations placed on benefits. However, it has been proven that 20 years ago, when actuarial science professor George Marx was preaching the same message, both of these tactics are not sustainable to bring the healthcare costs down for all employees. When it comes to medical aid or health insurance, why do many spend a fortune on it? Financial protection. From uncertainty to developing or contracting another serious disease. Or for those that have been generally healthy, it could be the four letter word fear, for example, ending up with cancer, a heart attack, a stroke, Alzheimer's, dementia or any other disease. And not having sufficient funds to fund the symptomatic relief keeps many in this fear state. The bottom line is you get this feeling of comfort and relief that you are being prudent. And yes, maybe you are prudent, but you're never told that you can prevent these diseases you fear. What is the purpose of medical aid coverage? Well, in personal risk management terms, which I specialize, it's the last stage of the steps of the financial management process. It's the funding step, the step where you fund the financial consequence of a health event that has a negative impact on you or your family. But what happened to the other actions that you can limit? What happened to the actions that you can take so that you don't pay away so much every month? Around 12 years ago, I came to understand these secrets to effectively eliminating disease hazards and completely guaranteeing my health and reducing all premiums and covers I had in place. In the webinar we present, I will share the most important three secrets to taking control of your employees health and gaining insights in how to do this, and then reap the corresponding rewards of reducing all health costs and keeping it sustainable.
