Peter Szabo (speaker) shares a first-person story about confronting fear and making bold choices. He recounts meeting his girlfriend, Jael, at a Los Angeles charity gala after being coached to approach her; their connection led to months-long contact, travel together (about 10 countries), and a long-term relationship. Szabo uses the anecdote to argue that taking risks (e.g., hiring mentors, investing in personal development — he cites investing $5,000 a month in a mentor) produces major life improvements; he closes with an invitation to join his program (30-day money-back guarantee) and mentions his primary income source is his agency and the work centers on "memory flipping."

If you've got fear holding you back. I wanted to share the story with you. A few years ago, I was like, 18, and I ended up investing a lot of money into, like, this charitable event. Now, usually they get a bunch of sponsors like Matthew McConaughey and John Travolta, Halle Berry, all these guys to kind of promote the event. A bunch of people go there to raise money for charity, right? And I ended up investing there because I, you know, wanted to help out and also get my message out there. So. So I remember we went to LA, and we're in downtown LA. We went to, like, the 30th floor of this building. And I'm like, just hanging out with my friends, my mentors, my to be life coach, because he wasn't my life coach back then. And we're just talking, right? And to be honest, I was a little bit bragging about some of my dates I had in the past, some fun times. And one of my friends ended up calling me out like, oh, right. Like, you're so good at this. You see that girl over there? Go talk to her. Go pick her up, right? And I've never done that in my life. You know, I'm not like a playboy or anything even close to that. So I was obviously kind of in, you know, in shock, anxiety. Like, nah, nah, I don't want to do that. But then my life coach, right, He. That's when I knew I had to hire this guy. He kind of gave me some coaching on the spot, and it really shifted my mindset, and it made me, you know, kind of take a deep breath and walk up to her. And then I tell her, hey, you know, I saw you from over there, and I thought I'd let you know you're beautiful. She looks up to me and she's like, I know you. Aren't you that guy? And it turns out that she ended up putting me in the magazine because she worked for the event at the time. And that girl was Jael, who now is my girlfriend. And we've traveled the world around, so it was such a crazy experience to meet her there. And then I remember, like, a sales technique I learned back in the day of how you would assume the sale, right? So instead of asking a yes or no question, you would ask, all right, do you want to use visa or MasterCard? Like, no is not an answer, right? So I was like, okay, do you want to give me your phone number or Facebook, right? So there's no way to decline. She pretty much gave me both. And Then fast forward to the next day, right? That was the night of the gala of the charitable event. And it ended at midnight, right? She had a flight at 6am back to Florida because she was still in college. And so at the end of the event, I was like, hey, do you want to come and hang out for a little bit? So after the event, I took her to the Santa Monica beach. We danced under the moonlight. We had a beautiful, beautiful time. And, you know, that's how we really deeply connected. Then her dad came pick her up, took her to the airport, and then we kept chatting for like two, three months. The next time I saw her, I told her, hey, I'm flying to New York, gonna hang out for a little bit. Do you want to join me? I flew her out. We had a great, great time. And ever since then, we've been dating, you know, girlfriend, boyfriend, and we've traveled the world together. Took her to maybe already like 10 countries by now. Created so many magic moments, memories, and it just really meeting her made my life so, so much better. Now the crazy thing is, looking back, I would have never imagined that such a small decision to just walk up to someone and say hi would completely change the trajectory of my life forever, right? Meeting the love of my life. And I was really afraid to do it. I never did that before. I never, like, spoke to a girl in person and told them, they're beautiful, right? I remember I saw it in a YouTube video and I thought, okay, I guess I gotta try what I saw in a YouTube video. So the morale of the story is, look, whenever you're about to make a decision to upgrade your life, your finance, your love life, your health, it is scary. It's always scary. Okay? But the point is that on the other side of the fear is the greatest joy, gifts, greatest wins you can experience. So that's what I invite you to consider. Look, when I walked up to JL when I invested 5,000amonth in one of my mentors, or I invested smaller amounts before I worked with this guy every single time. It was scary. But then I heard this quote somewhere in entrepreneurship that, like, what you gotta do is kind of just take a leap, you know, leap of faith off the cliff and build the airplane on the way down. So that's what I invite you to consider. That's what I encourage you to do. I know it may be a scary investment or a decision to join and to change your life, even though it may make sense, you may really want to do it, but it's scary. I get it. But I invite you to do it because that's kind of what separates winners from losers. People that try are more likely to win. Think about it this way. If you never take the shot, you're already guaranteed to fail, right? If you do not take that step forward, it's, you know, I can only guarantee one thing, that it's definitely not going to work. But if you at least give it a shot, there is a pretty big chance that it's going to work for you as long as you do it. And look, if it doesn't, for whatever reason, you've got 30 days to try the whole thing. And if it didn't work for you, I'll just give your money back, no big deal. And we can still be friends. Look, at the end of the day, this is a passion project of mine. My main income source is my agency. If you put in my name into Google, you'll find the website, you can research and double check it. And this is something I'm really putting out to the world because it changes lives on the deepest level possible through memory flipping. So I really believe it can serve you extremely well. And I invite you to take that leap of faith yourself as well. Because I promise you, at the other side of the fear is the greatest victory that you can experience. And I look forward to seeing you on the inside.
