The real difference between those who are a Success and those who NEVER will be!

Peter Szabo presents a short motivational talk arguing that the fundamental difference between people who succeed and those who fail is a mindset: victims blame external factors (government, parents, bosses, circumstances) and give away their power, whereas victors take full responsibility for their lives and thus can change their circumstances. He acknowledges systemic unfairness but insists that choosing responsibility enables action. He illustrates this with a personal anecdote about being 11, not speaking English, and choosing to search for ways to make money online rather than blame his parents' financial decisions.

What's the number one fundamental difference between someone who's, quote unquote, a success and someone who's a failure? I believe that this is like step one of success. Hey, my name is Peter Szabo, and I learned this way back. I was reading many books, learning from mentors, and it's this different paradigm. One being the victim and one being the victor, the winner. I learned that, you know, you can really put people in two categories, and most people are victims and they kind of choose to be a victim. You know, when something doesn't go their way, they kind of point fingers and blame that. It's the government, it's the genetics that I have. It's the, you know, something outside my control. It's, it's my job, it's my boss, it's my teacher, whatever it is. But they kind of point fingers outside and giving their power away. Because think about it, if it's really the government's fault, then what can you do about it? There's not much you can do to change. If it's really your parents fault that you are the way you are, well, you just told them that they're the cause, you're the effect. You know, the only way to change your life is to change the cause, to change the effect, to change the input, to change the output. So if you're saying that they're the one responsible for how you are, or anything else for that matter, you, my friend, you just gave your power away. And you can't really change from this place of being a victim, right? And I mean, there's many reasons we grow up, we're put in this society, the stage was set, and we kind of learn that this is the way to operate. We model our parents, we model everyone around us. So don't beat yourself up if you are this way or you were this way. I know, I used to be myself. But you need to understand, you need to learn that to move forward, to create the results you want in your life. You must drop that paradigm, that mentality of being a victim and blaming, complaining, pointing fingers. And you must take full responsibility for your life. And I get it. Life's not always fair. Shit may happen. And maybe it would have been easier if the government was different or the taxes were different. I get it. But at the end of the day, they are the way they are. And, and you must take responsibility for your life. Because when you do now, you have the power in your own hands to change the circumstances that you're in. And that's what I had to do. You see, when I was 11, I could have blamed my parents for, you know, taking all the money that they had and money they didn't have in form of loans and put it in this investment that didn't work out and we ended up being broke. You know, I could have blamed them. I could have blamed the fact that I didn't speak English. You know, I don't come from America. English is not my native language. So I could have blamed the fact that I was 11, I didn't speak English, that my parents made some bad decisions with their money. But instead I chose to take responsibility and I chose, chose to live my life that. Listen, I'm 11. I know there's not much out there for me, but I'm still willing to give it a shot. I'm still willing to go on Google, type in how to make money online and fix this problem for my family. Even if I fail, at least I'm willing to give it a shot. So I really believe that's step one of success or creating just a life you love, a life that you're proud of, is taking responsibility for who you are, where you are in life, no matter what has happened or what someone said to you or done to you, but taking that responsibility, because when you do, you now have the power to change. So I hope this was helpful and see you soon.
