You Only Need 2 Things To Succeed

A short YouTube monologue by Peter Szabo arguing that success boils down to two things: the right mindset and the right strategy, with mindset being far more important (he estimates ~80% of the equation). He explains that knowledge of tactics is widely available, but failures usually stem from mindset issues rooted in memories and self-sabotage, and closes by prompting viewers to diagnose whether their limiting factor is mindset or strategy.

In the grand scheme of things, you only need two things to succeed. The right mindset and a right strategy. And one of them is way more important than the other, actually five times more important. Now, I know success may seem complicated, right? There's a lot of people, a lot of gurus pitching different ideas and me probably being one of them, right? But the idea is that it's very confusing, overwhelming, contradictory information. But this is what it comes down to at a very high level, right? Mindset is like 80% of the game. And if you don't believe me, there's a lot of other people saying that. One of the OGs, Big T, right, Tony Robbins says it's 80% Psychology is the inner game and only 20% of it is the tactics, the skill, the strategy. So let me go back to this idea. Mindset. You know, put it this way, everybody knows essentially how to log, lose weight, how to make more money, how to get a better relationship, right? Like it's not rocket science, right? The information is not hidden away from us. It's not like the elite is keeping it secret, right? You can go to Google and figure it all out and find millions of ways to better your health, wealth, love or happiness, right? You go to YouTube and you put in the search how to lose weight, for instance. And you'll get millions of diets and you know, exercise programs and all that. And fundamentally it comes down to look, eat less, work out more, right? But how come most people can't stick to it and can follow through, right? It comes down to the mindset, comes down to the self sabotage or underlying beliefs that may be holding you back. And they're all really stemming from memories that set you up. Now there's going to be another video where I go into more into depth. But, but bottom line, the root cause behind mindset issues lies in memories. And when you fix those, the mindset will finally let you break through and you know, kind of move towards your goals without the self sabotage. Because that's where most people get stuck really is they take two steps forward but three steps back. Now you also need the right strategy, right? Because even if your mindset sets straight and you're motivated and you're no longer sabotaging, you know, you can't run east for a sunset, it's just not gonna work. You need a strategy that actually, so that could be another big mistake is say now you go try to build a business online, but you learn from someone who's never actually done it and they tell you a bunch of outdated strategies and ideas that have never worked, or maybe they never had the expertise to properly train and coach you. Right. So that could be a part of the issue as well, is you just don't have the right strategy. But more often than not, you know, you can even succeed with a shitty strategy, but most people don't consistently and properly execute. And it's a mindset issue fundamentally. So I know this is a short video, and there's gonna be other videos that explain different things, especially the mindset, in a lot more detail. But that's the bottom line. If you're feeling overwhelmed, just take a step back, take a deep breath, and realize it's really two pieces. The right mindset, the right strategy. Try to ask yourself, where's the missing key? You know, where's the leak? What's the big problem? Do I know what to do? I just can't seem to execute on it. Do I sabotage or something? Always seems to come up that takes me two, three, four, five steps back. Or am I just working on a plan and a strategy that just doesn't work? Am I missing some information there? What is it that I don't know that I don't know? Right. So I hope this helps. This is Peter Savo, and I'll see you in the next one.
