I want to tell you about 4 conferences for property managers this fall and the 2 that I'm going to. Let's jump into it. So the first conference you should know about coming up really soon, it's actually next week or this week depending on when you're watching this, is MX Summit. So PropertyMeld, which is an awesome maintenance coordination platform that we use at my management company, PropertyMeld throws a conference every year called MX Summit. I think MX is supposed to be short for maintenance, and I've gone a couple times already. It's a lot of fun. They throw a great party. It's in South Dakota. So if you've never been to South Dakota, here's your chance If you are responsible for coordinating maintenance at a property management company, this is probably the number one conference of the entire year. Tickets are still on sale last time I checked, so check it out and maybe I'll see you there. Next up is Appfolio Future. So a few years ago, Appfolio switched up their conference strategy and they're actually running a show not just for users of Appfolio, but for all of real estate and property management. They call it Future and it's, it's actually one of the best conferences of the year. It's put on in such a way that It's more almost like a tech conference than a property management conference. They usually have some big product announcements and their trade show is unlike any of the other trade shows on the property management circuit. It's much more kind of fancy. It's got a high-end feel. So it's, it's kind of cool to go to a different style of conference. It's in San Diego, which is an awesome place to be just about any time of year. So I'm actually headed to this one as well. I'm going to be doing an onstage podcast interview with an AppFolio exec, which I'm looking forward to. And maybe I'll see you at that one too. If you haven't heard of Moses Kagan, he is a bit of a legend among real estate Twitter. So I really look up to and respect Moses. He operates a real estate and property management business in California, and he has been throwing a conference called Reconvene, and it is unlike other real estate conferences. In fact, there's really no vendors or trade show at all. It's basically an excuse for a bunch of real estate operators and investors to get together, get to know each other, talk shop, and kind of have a good time around Santa Monica. So if you haven't been and you're in any type of a position where you need to raise capital for real estate deals, or if you're looking for real estate operators that you want to be an LP with, basically you're looking for GPs to invest in, this is a must-attend event. It's a little on the pricey side. They are running a promotion right now. Back in Vegas this year, NARPM National is an incredible show for anyone in property management. It's the biggest property management conference of the year if you're in residential third-party property management like I am.
