Property owners blame contractors for price-gouging on maintenance, but they don't see the macro forces driving costs up. Better education about what's actually making repairs expensive could end the blame game.
Maintenance. The story with maintenance right now is so interesting because behind the scenes you see there's macro-level factors that are driving up costs. And yet, is the customer really equipped to know that? I don't think so. I think probably not. I think, you know, what does it look like? What it looks like is the kind of general narrative that we're seeing in general right now. Probably price gouging, charging more. That's a, that's a great practical example of where education really can make a difference.
