Property managers leave software when they lose trust in the platform or provider, whether from outages, missing features, or feeling ignored. The same trust dynamic drives property owners to fire their managers. Hard functionality matters less than whether people believe you have their back.
What do you think causes property managers to switch softwares either to a solution like Rentvine or away from it? You hear a lot of complaining from property managers about their software solutions, but I'm curious what has to be true in order for them to actually send the email that's like, we're terminating, you know, we're switching.
Yeah, that's a great question. I would say they just lose trust in a system. Maybe there's an outage, maybe, you know, a company did something they don't like, that company's maybe not innovating fast enough. There's functionality and they don't feel like they're being heard. So I'd say most people people don't like change and typically will change because they're experiencing some acute pain point. And a lot of it's probably around, you know, functionality not being there, being clunky system, or just losing trust with the system or the provider.
Yeah. Really interesting. The, the language that you use there about trust, not being heard, those are very soft human dynamics, you know, and, and I think it's actually completely true. Like there's like these hard factors that go into these decisions, but even more important than those It really does seem to be that trust factor. It's the same thing with us, with our property owners. If a property owner loses trust in our ability to manage their property well, we know they're very, very, very likely to churn. Whereas if an owner trusts us, even if we make a mistake or even if they experience a longer vacancy, they're likely to stick around because they have this like confidence moving forward that we're looking out for them. We're acting in their best, best interest.
