Northpointe claims to break the property management commodity trap with a proprietary AI system and an unusual fee structure tied to the property's net operating income. The owner-aligned model has been piloted multiple times with positive results, letting the company's pay rise and fall with the building's actual performance.

Would you agree with the characterization of property management as commoditized, or if so, like how are you combating that? Well, one of the reasons why I joined Northpointe is because I think we can escape that commoditization. Well, everyone says that about their own company. We're nothing like the other guys, right? Yeah, of course. They don't know what they're doing. Of course. I mean, we, we've got a whole system here. You, you wouldn't know. Exactly. Yeah. We're using AI in ways you never thought of. Yeah. It was like, well, no, forget that. But we do, we do think that long-term, if we change some of the fee structure to make it much more aligned with owners, That's something we're already experimenting with. We've, we've taken that to market a couple times and it's been very well received, but just like an NOI-based property management incentivized structure. I think things like that, that really can stand out, you'll break away from the commodity stack.
