On the Darkest Day. It's the title of today's episode of A Year of Surrender. This is part 15 and today is the 21st of December. That means it's supposed to be the darkest day of the year. It's Winter Solace. And I once celebrated this thing by going to a shamanic drumming event. And in that shamanic drumming circle, the shaman made it really clear that this is the darkest of the darkest pit and we are going to go to the darkest and darkest place. And then he guided us inwards into darkness. And under a stone in the darkness, we could find a light beam from the brightest star. And we went from that darkest space in us and up to the lightest space and place in us. And we aligned the two and we allowed the shine the light to embrace and shine and light up all the darkness, all the shadows inside. And in that process, I felt like it was coming back home. I had this bluish purplish light flashing in my forehead. It's like small and bowls of blue lights, purple light balls, who just flew out of my third eye, which is this area here. And this shaman looked at me and I was like, wow, what consciousness are you in? This is supposed to be the consciousness you're in when you're dying. It's like, yeah, so I'm dying to the ego. I'm allowing myself to let myself go and surrender into the flow. Flow. So this journey I'm on right now, I'm sharing with you in the moment every day. It's a journey I've been on for a long, long time. I think it's a journey we're all on. It's the journey of traveling from the head, from fear, from limitations, down to the heart, down to love, to joy, to freedom, peace and hope. Because in the darkest day, in the darkest hour, in the dark night, or the soul, that's when we find the spark of hope and where we're going. So today I'm blessed with amazing meetings, coachings and sessions with my master coaches, with some fellow international coaches and with my son. And today I'm going to have the jo that and to instill myself, I'm just going to do five easy steps to becoming more present and I'm going to do them now with you. And this is something that one of my we, we had a summary yesterday evening with my master coaches. We, we have a call every week and we did a meditation where we looked at the year in review. And then what. What's the good things that made all the difference that we're bringing with us into the new year. What's the bad things that we're making a point of not bringing, bringing with us as habits into the new year and stopping it. And who have you become on this journey? And who do you want to become? Who do we aspire to become? And in that journey, one of them, she said, well, my goal is to get out of my inner prison of negative thoughts, negative thinking, and surrender and also, like, embrace myself in that and embrace. And also be okay with whatever is happening around me and stop fighting it, stop. Stop clinging to how it should be. Stop having preferences that I needed to be this way for me to be happy. Just allow the world to be the world. Just allow myself to let go. She said, how do I do that? And I said, well, if you start your day with these five steps and you end your day with these five steps, and every hour you check in with yourself. This is what I did back in 2008. I had a watch that beeped every hour for me to do this exercise. And after a while I could do it without closing my eyes. And then I could do it, like, in conversation. And then the last level was when I didn't notice any difference. And then I was like, okay, cool. Now this is implemented. This is embodied. This is a natural way of being, and I want to share them with you. Now, we do have a Facebook group in Norwegian where I'm also live streaming this, called Magisk Morn. Magical Morning. Been having it for many, many years. It's like 4300 people in there. And this is the start of the meditation we're doing. So I'm just gonna guide myself and yourself, yourself into it for the next two minutes. So first we notice our breath. Just how it is right now. Just allow the breath be as it is right now. Wow. And allow your body to be as it is right now and as you breathe and you can allow yourself to feel the feeling. Just breathe into whatever feeling you sense right now. Ah. And let go of that feeling on the out breath. Just breathe into whatever feelings here and let go on that breath. If you have any thoughts, just allow the thoughts to come up. Be here, watch them. Don't get involved. Just allow them to pass away. Like clouds are drifting over the sky. Just allow each thought to be as a cloud drifting past. And you can turn attention to the breath and allow a mixed feeling to be here and let go. Whatever quality the feeling is, just allow it to. Whatever it is to come up. Be here for now and then let Go. Beautiful. Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you. And now turn your attention inwards to that which is aware, to that which hears the sound, this voice. Who am I? Just allow that question to sink into yourself. Backwards into yourself, downwards into yourself and just let it go. Drop away like a stone sinking in water, going deeper and deeper. Let's do it again. Let's take the question, who am I? Allow it to sink deeper and deeper. And deeper. Just allow yourself to rest as this. Whatever is coming, just let it go. Whatever is sense, just let it go right now and totally naturally, with ease and lightness, just let it go, let it go, let it go. That's the exercise I told one of my beautiful master coaches that do this every day, every morning, every night, and do the who am I? Question for yourself and let go, let go, let go. Three times a day. No, every hour, every day for the next year. And then we'll all flock over to you to sit with you in your silence, because that's the beauty. A beautiful soul is asking, what does it mean to see millions of elements in the third eye and down to one element of magnetic elements? I don't know, but it sounds beautiful. Just allow it. You don't have to think. It doesn't have to mean anything. Maybe just a sign that you're on the right path. Just allow yourself into that. Yeah. Anyways, thank you for your time. I'm off to the next coaching and I love you. Take care of.
