Remembering that is the topic of this episode of A Year of Surrender. I think we're at episode 32. I'm Peter Swanning from Leadership Art, sitting on the floor in my dream home, overlooking nature and you, because your beautiful nature, your human nature. And the thing is, I have something to confess. I almost forgot. That's why the topic of this one here is, is to remember in the beginning of A Year of Surrender, which is now three whole months ago. Tomorrow is a three month thing and I'm only at episode 32, so that sounds like it is too few episodes. And in the beginning, I needed to go live every day to remind myself and to be in a flow, surrendering. But then I had a period where everything was flowing so beautifully and I stopped going live every day and I did it once in a while and then I forgot myself and I needed to get back on this wagon. And why is that? The thing is that I started out with giving up on achievements and goals and wanting to be something that's not true, wanting to get something. So I decided with the help of my beautiful wife, to take a year away from growth, business growth, monetary growth, and just be in, in my dream life, living my ideal scenario, my ideal days. And for me, that is surrendering into that flow, which is greater than me being a part of that oneness, that greatness. And I have to admit it happens every day still. But I just needed to really let go of the mind and ideas about how stuff should be and just sink into the love and the essence of me and then surrender and give from that place. And I did that for days and even weeks. And then I just got so inspired. I was so inspired to create something new. So I created a whole new product called Get Clients now in Norwegian and in English and for the Swedes as well. And I decided to like go all in and do a online event around it and do a live physical event in my home. Like sitting here, I'm gonna sit here with my best clients, who's a part of that group already. And it just felt so good. I launched it in a whole new way. It was the best launch, like a really good launch with no stress, no ads, just fun and it was easy. And then I took off on holidays, which was admittedly a little bit stressful with kids of up in the snow in the mountains with my in laws and all that. But I still could bring my work and run my weekly meetings with my clients from there from one of the rooms in the cabin up in the mountains. And I'M so grateful for location freedom and time freedom and doing what I want, freedom. But then I got back and I had so much after being like away for a week, I had so much I wanted to do. So I created a huge to do list and all of the items felt pressing and urgent, whilst the reality is none of them are urgent at all. I could just sit here today, actually. I planned for the next couple hours to be here at home in my office and do inspired work. But then I'm gonna commit to going out and being in nature because that's what's rejuvenating for me. That's where I really reconnect with who I am and with the source of nature, the core of nature. And I think that is where I also find my joy. My joy is inside of me all the time, but it kind of sprouts out being in nature. And that's probably what I missed going, getting back to work. This only happened for like a few hours yesterday. I felt clammed up. My jaw started to be like more shut. And I didn't smile, I didn't laugh, didn't have fun. Because I had this idea that everything needs to be done. Because then I will get something, which is bs. That's the French word for bullshit, I think. And it's something I need to remember, you know, why am I doing this? I have a great friend called Stan Morton. I hope he's listening to this. He's normally listening to this series on Spotify. And we decided, because we both went into a launch and we both decided that the one who has the most fun wins. Because it's not about the money. It's not about like success measures how many clients and la la la. It is about fun. It is about coming into that joy inside. And from that joy and from that freedom from that ease and calm and love. That's where life evolves. That's where flow comes surrendering into that and then connecting with you in that. So where you get to remember who you are, remember what you really want. Because it's not all the things, it's not all those goals because they're empty. It is being who you are, becoming more of who you're meant to be. It is being in a flow of love and giving, isn't it? Let's remember that. Let's take a true to that. It's my remembrance. And just being here now talking to you for six minutes, I feel ease, joy, calm, love, freedom, expression, fun. I'm here, I have arrived. And now Peter talking to myself. Remember. Remember what? That love and serve. That's what I want you to do as well. Remember to love, remember to serve, remember to have fun. This concludes episode 32, was it of a Year of Surrender. And I cannot promise you that I will do it every day, but I will do it more often because it's fun. I love it, and I love you.
