This video we're going to discuss five ways to use text message marketing to grow your local service business. And text message marketing is kind of a little bit confusing as to, you know, do I need a phone, how do I do texting? And so in this video, we're going to go through five ways that you can use text message marketing for your business. So the first thing that we always talk to our clients about is having some type of a chat widget on your website. Typically, people don't like to have chat because they don't want people sitting there trying to chat back and forth with them. And so the beauty of having text message chat widget is that you can fill this out and send it and then you can start a text conversation. So when you send this conversation, it's going to text their phone and start a text interaction back and forth. So this is the first way that you can use text message marketing to help grow your business. It helps you get more leads. The second thing that you can do is you can actually send out review requests. Whether it's an automated process, there's a bunch of different ways to automate the text review process. But sending out a review request like this, this will allow you to get more Google reviews, which will then help you boost your rankings on Google. 17% of your ranking is the number of Google reviews you have. So texting out a review link goes a lot further than just simply asking someone over the phone. And especially if you have a way to automate the process, it can streamline things a lot. The other thing that this allows you to do is on your website, texting will allow you to follow up on your leads. So let's say that you have a contact us on your website and someone fills out this form, you can automatically text people and then you can set up automation so that two days, three days, five days later, you could text those people and say, hey, I just wanted to follow up and make sure everything was taken care of. Please let me know if you have any questions. And so you can automate the sales follow up process. And what we found with the companies that we work with is that maybe something slips through the cracks or maybe they're not getting back to people in a day or two. And so this allows us to have visibility into the follow up process for them. The next one I think is pretty beneficial. If your company's like carpet cleaning or you need pictures of things, H Vac is good. If they have some damage or maybe some space that they're trying to fill or something. What this allows you to do is if someone chats in here, they could text you a picture of a carpet, stain ripples in their carpet, a new space that they want to get new carpet in, or a cabinet that they want to put an H vac unit in, or whatever, a space they want to paint, anything. It allows you to open up the texting communication. Before people would say, oh, well, email us this picture and the file's too big and this and that. What texting allows you to do is just communicate right on the phone onto a desktop platform like this and text back and forth. And then the last one is doing some type of rejuvenation for your database. And what this allows you to do is to text out to everyone as you're collecting all these phone numbers, whether it's through texting through here or contact forms or a database that you already have, is texting out all these people.
