You can literally hustle your way to $1 million, but if you try that at $5 million, your company starts pushing back. And what we found is that to get to $5 million, you have to build some systems. You got to have scorecards, data, leadership team. And when you, the business owner, try to fight your way to $5 million brute force, you actually have your business pushing back on you saying like, hey, you can't do this. One, you're going to burn out. Two, you're never going to empower the leaders inside of your business to do things. And three, You're going to be controlling all these little things, which is going to make you stuck, usually around like $2-ish million, $3 million max of what you can brute force it to. So, what should you do? If you want to unlock that growth to $5 million or $10 million, the hustler has to die and the leader has to be born. You have to remove yourself from the marketing bottleneck. You have to remove yourself from the sales bottleneck. You have to remove yourself from the delivery bottleneck, and you have to elevate a management team inside of your business to then create the capacity for growth inside of your company. The problem is that the risk that you took to get to like $1 to $3 million, you have to risk even more to get out of the $1 to $3 million because you can't go backwards. And usually you stay stuck in $1 to $3 million because you're like, oh, I could always just go back. You can't go back if you want to go to $5 million. You have to risk it all again.
