Phil Risher recommends contractors record a Loom video walking clients through each estimate line-by-line, then attach it with a note to watch first. It cuts follow-up calls and makes you stand out.

What I would recommend doing is recording a Loom video for every single estimate that you send out. Click record and walk them through the estimate line by line and answer their questions. And you send it with the estimate and say, before you open this estimate, watch this Loom video and I'm going to go through and explain every single step to you of why I did what I did. Then you don't have to call them. You have a video that's there that goes along with your estimate and you will stand out instantly. For some people, you could just create an evergreen video. There's a little bit about business. Here's what to expect from a down payment perspective. Here's what to expect once you sign it, what's going to happen. Some evergreen thing. But if you do a Loom video with custom stuff, It will solve that problem for you having to call them and go through the estimate.
