H Vac companies are partnering with electricians and tripling their revenue with this crazy strategy. We had this H vac contractor that working with they're about $3 million. They tried to find electricians that they would partner with. What they realized was they wanted to build out an electrical division inside of their company. They found electrician who was not very good on his own, but if they fed him leads, he was going to kill it for them. So what they did was they plugged him into the H Vac business. Then they cross sold all of their H Vac contractors electrical work. So everyone that was on their email newsletter for H Vac work, they sent them email newsletters, texts and offers for new generators, home surge protectors, EV chargers. And now they had this whole list of hvac contractors that they could cross sell electrical work to. The result was that they took their business from 3 million to 6 million and then 6 million to 8 million and ultimately sold to private equity. There are a lot of ways to grow your business. One of them is just keep doing the same work that you've been doing. The other way is to bring on a complimentary service and cross sell services and grow that way.
The companies that win the next five years won't be the ones gaming the system.
