Being the hero in your business is expensive. If you're still doing admin tasks that you could hire someone for $10 or $20 to do, that's an expensive trade because the owner's time is the most expensive time. They should be focused on the highest leverage activities. They should be focused on fixing their booking rates, coaching their sales team, optimizing systems in their business, looking at scorecards, holding their team accountable. The big fish, the business that scale the fastest, they build heroes inside of their business. They are not the hero. A lot of times owners, that are stuck in this hero mindset get stuck doing administrative tasks or delivery tasks or firefighting every job. These are inexpensive tasks that are holding a lot of businesses back, which then puts a cap on how much they can actually grow because they are the bottleneck on everything.
