You have or you will, or you should have heard the saying from me or from reading books or anything. You are the sum of the five people you hang out with. That's a long time saying and it's still very true. So if you hang out with dogs, you get fleas, as they say. So think about who you're hanging out with and are your friends. Unfortunately, sometimes you outgrow your friends or just the people you happen to be hanging out with. Maybe you met them in school, you know, met them through work. Are they really the people that are going to take you to the next level? You can be sociable and you can be acquaintances, but if you're running around with a bunch of guys that play golf every weekend and want to go on guys trips and want to go day drinking, you're going to be doing that and it's going to be detrimental to your health. Same thing with girls. You know, Sydney, you know, if your friends are out doing that, they want to go out to clubs and whatnot, and you're married, that's not a good thing. So think about who your friends are and look for friends that are going to help you grow in your professional life, in your work life, in your. Just in your life in general. And stay with those kind of people. And you're going to have friends that go bad. There's those people that just go off the reservation for whatever reason at some point in their life. And. And sometimes you have to cut the rope and let those folks go. And that's just the unfortunate thing of life. I know it's hard. It's not necessarily you being a bad friend, but people do change. And you think about yourself and what's best for you and your family and get rid of bad influences in your life. Because if you don't, it just wallows and they just drag you down with them. So you are the sum of the five people you hang out with. Think about that. Look around, look where you're at, look where you want to be and make it happen.
