Your OCI application can get rejected because of some photo mistakes such as wrong dimensions, oversized file, or even cut signature, and your application goes directly to rejection. So here's the quick fix. First, your OCI photo must be in a perfect square, not portrait, not rectangle, and within 1500 into 1500 dimensions. Open your photo in the photo app, use the crop tool, and select square. Center your face and save it. Next, open the cropped image in Paint, click resize pixels, and set the width 2000. Since it's a square, the height will adjust automatically. Save the file and you are done. Now do the exact same process for your signature, but make sure that no part of your signature is cut off, not even a single stroke. And one more thing that most people miss is that after selecting the file on the OCI portal, you must click on the crop/upload button inside the portal or the preview won't appear properly.
